Mo Shu looked at the two little ones who were quietly nursing, naturally exuding a motherly glow, and said with a gentle smile, "The children are still young, they have no father, and I didn't give birth to them after getting married. If we hold a grand first birthday ceremony, or any kind of banquet, people might start gossiping."
"So what!" The Emperor was displeased, speaking deeply, "My grandchildren, must we seek others' permission to celebrate their first birthday?"
Mo Shu shook her head, "The entire Moyan Country belongs to you, Father, naturally you don't need anyone's approval. But people talk, and they might gossip. The children are still young, and I don't want them to grow up under the weight of others' disdain and rumors."
The Emperor's face darkened even more, "I shall like to see who dares to spread such nonsense outside!"
Mo Shu smiled, "Father!"
