Chapter 321 - Ch.321 Gambit and the God of Gambling

The Void World, also known as the End of Time.

The End of Time has no end. As long as time exists, this world is an infinitely vast space.

Ten thousand miles away in the Dead Sea, a barren island was suddenly engulfed by black mist. Golden beams flickered within, while blood-red eyes blazed like stars.

ROAR~

The black mist morphed into various beasts, lunging at the golden light in the darkness.

Buzz~

BOOM!!

The mist exploded, and a golden Spider-Man shot out.

Charlie's golden suit was half-corroded by a mysterious force, leaving him battered.

But with ample stellar energy in his body, he wasn't truly harmed.

ROAR!

Before he could act, Alioth transformed into a giant wolf, roaring again. The black mist solidified into meteors, plummeting to destroy him.

Charlie's eyes blazed with intense heat, his heat vision slicing through the sky, piercing the meteors.

BOOM!!

The sky quaked, the meteors shattered but reformed. Alioth was unharmed, and as the mysterious force continued its assault, Charlie's time-space energy dimmed.

The Void monster Alioth, as some Loki variants described, was a living storm that devoured matter and energy.

But the Alioth he faced was more than that.

A monster at the End of Time couldn't be just a cloud of mist.

Its time-space power far surpassed the time machine Charlie got from Kang the Conqueror.

The Time Tablet spider, summoned from that machine, was no match.

As Alioth dove, swallowing the surrounding space, time-space powers couldn't stop it. Charlie seemed to recall something.

Alioth was born from the Tears of Reality in the "Kang" Multiversal War. It could devour matter, energy, time, and space.

Before Loki found the TVA's "mastermind," He Who Remains suppressed all Kang variants, likely with Alioth's help.

Its ability to consume time and space made it possible.

Charlie's mind sparked.

ROAR!!

Alioth charged, the sky shrouded in mist, apocalyptic.

Charlie's portal was swallowed, time and space locked by Alioth.

The invincible Spider-Man seemed trapped.

But he wanted to try something.

Buzz~

Dodging Alioth's attack, Charlie transformed into a small sun, soaring upward. Dazzling Spider Totems bloomed across the sky.

Whoosh~

The Dead Sea surged, then froze.

The crumbling island stopped trembling.

The Spider Totem dominated the sky, its cascading webs diving into Alioth's mist, glowing with magical energy.

If it couldn't be killed, he'd make it his own.

"Come forth, Alioth Spider, devourer of time and space!"

Charlie formed hand seals, and the Spider Totem enveloped Alioth like a dumpling wrapper.

ROAR!!

The giant wolf struggled as the summoning magic dragged it toward the Web of Life and Destiny.

Using destiny's power to transform Alioth into a magic spider—that was Charlie's plan.

As most of Alioth's body sank into the void, Charlie's eyes glowed.

Almost there!

But the Web of Life and Destiny's time-space power at the End of Time became Alioth's lifeline.

Using it, Alioth dissolved into intangible gas, slipping through the web's gaps, climbing the cosmic web, and devouring the Web of Life and Destiny.

Charlie, shocked, severed his connection to the Web, letting Alioth consume it.

The Web under attack, the Inheritors wouldn't sit idle.

Let Alioth weaken them first—Charlie would gain the upper hand in the final battle.

He wasn't worried about Alioth fully devouring the Web.

Alioth targeted its time-space power, not life and destiny's forces.

Once it consumed the Web's time-space energy, the Inheritors could no longer use it to hunt Spider-Men across universes, cutting off their path.

Charlie felt a thrill of anticipation.

This was a spur-of-the-moment move. He hoped it was clever enough.

With Alioth gone, the End of Time showed a hint of life.

The mist dispersed, sunlight returned.

On the crumbling island, green sprouted from the cracks.

Time no longer bound nature's laws.

Unsure when Alioth might return, Charlie had to move fast.

Buzz~

Drawing a circle, he dove into the magic sparks, joining Gwen and the others for the final journey.

Inside the giant Ant-Man head, Nova saw everything.

"Spider-Man sent Alioth away?"

She frowned, glancing at Pharaoh Kang.

Kang was stunned.

He hadn't expected this.

The invincible Spider-Man didn't defeat Alioth but sent it to a dimension beyond the Kang Dynasty's reach.

This wasn't their plan!

Snapping out of it, Kang's face darkened.

"You mad?" Nova asked.

Ignoring her "humor," Kang said grimly, "The plan's gone wrong. I'm leaving."

Before he could enter his time machine, Nova blocked him.

"Does our deal still stand?" Her eyes were cold.

Kang glared, impatient. "I've given you enough. Don't push it."

"Oh my gosh, you broke our deal."

Nova's lips curled into a chilling smile.

"Then it's gotta be this way."

She raised a hand, an invisible force enveloping Kang.

Anger flashed in his eyes.

Without moving, his time machine glowed, nullifying Nova's telekinesis.

No—her power had "crossed time."

Nova's face changed as a familiar force enveloped her, crushing her body.

BANG!

With a soft sound, Nova's body exploded into chunks of flesh.

Kang didn't glance at the mess, stepping toward his machine.

Rustle~

A second later, the chunks reassembled. Nova pointed, and Kang's machine sank into the ground.

"Great Pharaoh, you can break your promise, but I'll take what I want."

She snapped her fingers, and figures of all sizes swarmed the room.

Her minions surrounded Kang, faces twisted, ready to tear him apart.

Kang didn't flinch.

He turned to Nova. "You sure?"

Nova sneered. "Absolutely."

Kang's eyes narrowed. "Fine. You're out."

His staff hit the ground, its gem unleashing radiant rings.

Buzz~

Time froze, eyes twitching. Nova felt a chill.

She'd been careless.

As she panicked, Kang approached slowly.

With each step, his ornate robes grew brighter, transforming into golden Egyptian armor. The time machine dimmed.

Time's power had shifted to his armor.

He raised his staff, its gem blazing.

"You lowly creatures will face the Time God's wrath!"

Kang's cruel smile spread as everything around him decayed visibly.

Time's power—unstoppable, especially at the End of Time, where it was everything.

In Nova's wide eyes, everything in her vision rotted.

Her minions, her base, her favorite coat, her hated X-Men poster, and…

In a blink, Nova aged countless years.

Regaining her senses, her withered body rapidly restored to its prime.

Her flesh filled out, her face regained its glow.

As Professor X's sister, she tried to kill him in the womb. Innately evil, she wielded telepathy, telekinesis, levitation, and energy manipulation via psionic powers.

She could even manipulate DNA to rebuild her body.

Immortality was her baseline.

Time's erosion couldn't destroy her instantly. Once her cells adapted, her psionic energy began to manipulate time itself.

She thought she'd fail.

But she succeeded.

A fluke—her lucky day.

Now Kang was the one stunned.

"How?!"

Unconvinced, he swung his staff again, but time had no effect on her.

Nova, testing, flicked her finger. Everything around her refreshed visibly.

Her minions, her coat, her hated X-Men poster—all restored.

She laughed, loud and wild.

"Hahaha, worthy of the great Pharaoh! Thanks for the time power. My turn."

Her crazed smile widened as she unleashed time energy. Kang's face changed, countering with his own invisible shockwave.

BOOM!!

Time clashed, ripples spreading, everything decaying and renewing in cycles.

Nearby superhumans wailed in aging death and screamed in reborn excitement.

The scene grew eerie.

Both Nova and Kang's faces hardened.

As they deadlocked, a massive portal opened above the Ant-Man base. An uninvited guest made them pause in sync.

They withdrew their time powers, looking at the shattered ceiling.

BOOM~

Charlie sat on the edge, poking his head in to greet them.

"Hey, bad timing?"

Nova sneered. "No, perfect timing."

With a wave, her minions charged.

Charlie shrugged. "Can't do anything about you."

He slipped into a portal, his team rushing outside.

They knew Spider-Man's forces had surrounded the base.

Outside, shouts and gunfire roared.

Nova and Kang exchanged a glance, aligning instantly.

"Spider-Man has a time machine. With him here, we can't leave," Kang said.

Nova glanced out the window. "Then take him out."

"No choice."

Kang's staff struck the ground, its gem pulsing with light rings.

Buzz~

Figures steeped in history appeared.

"Master, your orders."

A gold-armored Apocalypse knelt, flanked by ancient Egyptian pharaohs.

Multiversal Apocalypses, devout, awaited their god's will.

Kang scanned them. "Find Spider-Man. Eliminate him."

"Understood."

The Apocalypses spread out, hunting the hidden Spider-Man.

Nova watched, intrigued. "You didn't do this earlier."

Kang's face was blank. "Under time's power, they're insignificant bugs.

But now, with time powers canceling out, we need other means to fight."

He glanced at Nova, who sprang into action.

With a wave, the Ant-Man shell disintegrated into ash.

Exposed on the wasteland highland, the battlefield reached them.

A man in a leather trench coat flicked his cards, transforming them into a dragon of energy.

Whoosh~

Cards burst with colorful energy, storming toward them.

Nova waved without looking, her invisible force crushing the cards. Gambit, Remy Etienne LeBeau, was flung back by the impact.

"Oh my gosh, my youth!"

Little Wade, hit by Juggernaut, dove to catch Remy, locking eyes with a deep gaze.

"No need to thank me, but you gotta get me a signed God of Gambling photo," he said.

Remy: "???"

"Who's the God of Gambling?"

"You don't know?"

"Nope."

"No way, you're in the same circle!"

"I've never been to Hong Kong."

"You're still denying it!!!"
