It had been a few days, and Darcy knew that the Zharn's effect had worn off her son. However, she had already laid out her plan. It was in motion. All she needed to do was make sure that before Helanie spoke with Emmet about the well, the plan was already underway. And lucky for her, it happened just like that. Because during those days, Helanie was supposed to mark Maximus. So Darcy knew she was right on track.
She told Charlotte to go around the house and check Emmet's bedroom. She carried a bag on her shoulder and tossed the papers around before walking back out. Charlotte's next responsibility was to remove the tapes of the CCTV footage from that specific night. It wasn't hard for her. The warriors knew her. All she had to do was go and let them know that Darcy had asked for the tape to be removed. One of the warriors was working for Darcy, so it was extremely easy.
