"Fujiwara Kirito!" Darui whispered, helping Nozomi, whose body was paralyzed by the Second Pillar's illusion, to his feet.
He feared that Nozomi would attack him, just like last time.
"What!?"
At that moment, all the samurai were shocked. Was this the Fujiwara Kirito who had annihilated the Sarutobi and Shimura clans, killed the Fourth Kazekage, and toyed with the Konoha high command and Orochimaru at his mercy? He had
roamed the ninja world, undefeated since his debut.
He had ascended the stairs. Hundreds of samurai guarded the four floors below. How had he gotten in?
Why was there no movement?
Not to mention them.
Even the ninja, including the Raikage, were terrified.
It wasn't fear of death,
but the body's instinct when facing a powerful opponent.
Of course, some smiled.
"Damn it. My resistance to Lightning Release is so weak that I can't even complete the liquefaction. But it looks like I won't die here with Sasuke today."
Suigetsu looked at Kirito who had arrived and gave a forced smile.
A moment later, and he'd be in danger.
At that moment, Sasuke's clothes were stained with blood, and his mouth, nose, and eyes were covered in blood. He was encased in the skeleton of Susanoo's first form, his six-pointed Mangekyō glaring coldly at Kirito.
"Sasuke, you're as reckless as ever. You went to compete with the Raikage in Lightning Release, and you must have gotten yourself wrecked,"
Kirito said, meeting his gaze with a playful smile.
He knew that Sasuke was at his darkest point, completely consumed by murder. He
couldn't distinguish friend from foe. Not
to mention Kirito, who had once caused him to be assaulted by Orochimaru.
"Hey, C, that Uchiha's eyes have changed," Darui whispered, noticing Sasuke's change.
"It's the Mangekyō Sharingan." C swallowed.
"One Mangekyō is already formidable, and now with this ridiculously powerful monster, we..." For the first time, Darui felt like retreating.
"Impossible, maybe there will be a change."
C shook his head. He could already sense the other four Kage approaching.
If the five Kage joined forces, he doubted Fujiwara Kirito could be a match.
And that Uchiha seemed to harbor a deep hostility towards Fujiwara Kirito.
Sure enough, Sasuke's actions confirmed his suspicions.
The sky cleared, the rain stopped, and Sasuke, having activated Susanoo, felt himself safe again.
Facing Kirito's lecture, Sasuke's left eye instantly bloodshot, its pupil locked onto Kirito, focusing as tears of blood flowed.
"You really don't learn, Sasuke." Kirito leaned sideways, and as everyone watched in horror, a ball of black flame flew from where he had stood, burning the stone pillar.
Even more astonishing was the sight. Kirito slowly approached Sasuke, who continuously unleashed Amaterasu, but each time, Kirito simply leaned sideways, anticipating and easily dodging.
For a moment, everyone present thought they could dodge it, too.
Unfortunately, no one dared to try.
They knew that if this thing touched them, they would surely die.
"Is this Fujiwara Kirito's true strength? He was able to dodge the Amaterasu emitted by the Uchiha's gaze so easily." C's pupils trembled, and she was stunned.
"Susanoo!"
"Flame Release, Kagutsuchi!"
Seeing Amaterasu useless, the frosty-faced Sasuke finally panicked. Tears of blood streamed from his right eye, and Susanoo activated its second state. He controlled Amaterasu's black flames to form a black flame shield around Susanoo.
Kirito paused a meter from the shield. "Have you completely lost yourself in your passion?"
"Stop talking nonsense. You and the Five Kage must die today." Sasuke glanced around, his gaze sweeping from the Raikage and the others to Kirito. "I'll start with you."
As he spoke, Susanoo swung its arrows and slashed at Kirito.
A flash of blade flashed, and no one could see what Kirito had done. The Susanoo arrow shattered instantly, sending purplish debris and dust flying.
"Looks like I need to wake you up." Kirito's free hand, unarmed, slowly reached out, muttering, "Armament Haki—internal destruction!"
Even as he finished speaking, no one could comprehend what had happened.
With a sizzling sound, the black flame shield dissipated, Susanoo disintegrated. Sasuke, trapped within, clutched his collar with his left hand, covered his mouth with his right, and suddenly fell to his knees, coughing up blood.
His body convulsed a few times, and he collapsed to the ground, gasping for air.
"Hiss!" gasps echoed throughout the arena. The Uchiha who had captured the Eight-Tails Killer Bee and activated his Mangekyō Sharingan had been defeated like this?
Too dramatic.
"Are you clearing your mind now?" Kirito smiled, looking down at the sprawled Sasuke, casually raising his blade to block the incoming Raikage. "You're charging right at me like that? Are you trying to kill yourself?"
"Lord Raikage, don't be impulsive. The other four Kage are heading this way," C's voice echoed from afar.
"Stop talking nonsense!" the Raikage roared at C, clenching his right fist, blocked by Kirito's Zanpakutō. "Asshole, I can't forgive you, absolutely not."
The Raikage's hair stood on end, and a massive burst of lightning-attribute chakra erupted from his body. His Lightning Release Chakra mode reached its limit.
The ground cracked instantly where the two men landed.
"Raikage, that yellow-haired guy is right. You should wait for the other four Kage to arrive." Kirito maintained his previous posture, his expression calm and composed, his right hand slightly raised.
"Raikage-sama, be careful!" C, having witnessed Sasuke's tragic end, was horrified and hurriedly warned. He didn't believe his own Raikage's armor was stronger than Susanoo's.
"Danger." C didn't need to warn him; the Raikage was already moving. With a flash of his body, he blasted back, putting several feet between him and Kirito.
However, his lightning-fast body was even faster than Kirito's.
By the time the Raikage could react, Kirito was already in front of him.
"What when?" A cold sweat broke out between the Raikage's brows. He looked down at Kirito, his Zanpakutō in hand, and felt his relatively small figure magnified infinitely.
In that moment, he felt his own insignificance in his opponent's eyes.
A complete defeat in his strongest area, speed.
"Hadō no. 90, Black Coffin!" Kirito muttered, pressing his index and middle fingers together. A small black sphere materialized above his sword.
Simultaneously, four black walls appeared, merging together and instantly enveloping the Raikage, trapping him within.
Everyone was stunned.
What kind of ninjutsu was this? A black cube?
While the samurai and the Raikage's guards were distracted by Kirito, Suigetsu, the only one of the three still able to move from Team Hawk, seized the opportunity to rescue Jūgo and Sasuke.
He warned Sasuke, "This guy is as formidable as ever. I'm afraid the Raikage has already been defeated. Sasuke, don't try to challenge him again. If you do, you'll be dead."
Sasuke didn't answer, simply staring intently at the Black Coffin.
Kirito turned around slowly, the black light shattered, and countless tiny holes appeared on the Raikage's body. Blood escaped, leaving a trail of blood mist in the air.
"Is this guy so strong? He actually killed the Raikage with a single blow." The leg shadow Kurotsuchi, who had just arrived and was hiding in the dark to watch the battle, was surprised and delighted.
She had thought that Sasuke would engage in a fierce battle with the Raikage.
However, unexpectedly, Sasuke turned around and ran to attack Kirito, but was killed instantly.
Then the Raikage made a sneak attack on Kirito, but was also killed instantly.
