Sasuke had once blocked her Senbon as Naruto, and the two were old acquaintances. If possible, she didn't want Sasuke to die here.

The battle between the trio and Sasuke was largely identical to the original novel.
Fury-spurred, Sasuke lost his composure and, Chidori in hand, charged recklessly at the Raikage. However, he was repelled by the Raikage's guard, Darui, using a combined jutsu of Water Style, Water Formation Wall, and Lightning Style, Gratitude Wave.
Then, C cast an illusionary lightning beam to attract Sasuke and Jūgo's attention.
Seizing this opportunity, the Raikage and Darui quickly positioned themselves in front of and behind the Second Pillar, unleashing armored elbows and slashing blades.
Suigetsu could no longer hide, barely blocking the Raikage's armor and Darui's slashes, respectively.
With a clang,
the ground collapsed, and the beheading sword, previously pierced by Killer Bee, split in two. The three members of Team Hawk exploded back, putting distance between them and the Raikage and Darui.
"Sasuke, our mission has been completed! Let's retreat! This Raikage is just as powerful as the Eight-Tails Jinchuriki—incredibly strong." Suigetsu tightened his grip on the blade and said gloomily, "And he has the lightning attribute I hate the most." Sasuke
didn't respond, simply staring intently at the opposing Raikage.
The two sides engaged again.
Jūgo stormed out, entering Cursed Seal State II, but was knocked back to his original form by the Raikage's taijutsu, Heavy Flow. C
was caught in Sasuke's genjutsu.
Suigetsu was steadily defeated by Darui.
The two sides have won and lost alternately.
Sasuke faced the Raikage again, and instead of competing with the Raikage in Lightning Release, the Chidori Blade was useless against the Raikage's Lightning Release Armor, and the Chidori only scratched the Raikage's skin.
Instead, he was hit by the Raikage's Thunder Bomb, and was saved by the first state of Susanoo.
Even so, he was seriously injured.
The battle was at a stalemate.
Just when Sasuke opened the Mangekyō and was about to release Amaterasu, footsteps were heard at the stairs.
