Song Yun rushed in, his face pale seeing Huo Yan lean against the wall. He rushed to her instantly, cradling her in his arms.
"You... you're bleeding." His voice broke as his hands touched a cold, red liquid.
"I... I'm fine." Huo Yan stammered, feeling breathless.
"Who did this to you?" He demanded, his eyes flashing with an unrestrained fury.
"Can I get to the clinic first? I don't feel too good," Huo Yan said, her voice barely above a whisper.
"Right... clinic." He said. He hastily scooped her into his arms and walked out, going in the direction of the university clinic.
Huo Fei was hidden behind one of the pillars and her hands clenched tightly. "You survived today. Let's see if you'd survive the next one. Huo Yan... your days are numbered."
Meanwhile, Song Yun effortlessly carried Huo Yan in his arms as he walked through the university's hallways. The students all stopped to watch him, feeling amazed as they whispered among themselves.
