Reese stared at her for a moment as though still hesitating to accept the truth. But he knew he couldn't escape from it for long.
"The medical scientist who formulated Oblivion–X was my grandfather. He was the one who first tested the drug on you," he finally said.
And Arwen was taken aback by his words. She suddenly considered and realized all the details she was missing in between. The drug was rare, yet Reese was able to find it. Of course, he did because he had known it from the very beginning.
