Chapter 164 - Great Migration

Going back in time a few moments… While deep in thought about what it might have been, Tsa received a message via telepathy.

"Brother Tsa, I encountered that player, their inventory dropped, along with that powerful item. I don't know much about it…"

"How many times are you going to tell me this news?"

"Oh, sorry, I just don't know what to do here. Should I ask Sister about it? She might know something more about it."

"No, for now just keep it. And slowly look into what it might be able to do. Letting her know about it is the last option."

"But brother Tsa-"

"Stay safe brother."

Tsa ended the call, and let out an annoyed sigh. "I really shouldn't have treated him like that, but oh well. It was just so damn annoying. After all of that power I used, I couldn't even claim the item for myself."

Hmm, so that player was actually just a weakling that could be killed by my little brother? This doesn't bode well for me. I wonder what world item it was that allowed me to pull him here?

Elsewhere, Deep Darkness Dragon Lord was worrying about what to do. "Tsa told me that these items could kill us with ease. And I don't know what this thing is able to do. Nor how to figure it out, I need to know, its aura is so terrifying." He lamented, in a panic. "Also, what was with what that idiot was spouting when I fought him? Something about being a king?" The poor young Dragon Lord cowered in his lair, now containing a truly dangerous item. "My lair is so small… I… I… Sister, she can help me. Tsa just hung up like it was nothing to worry about. But this thing is nothing to joke about!"

The terrified dragon sent a message hoping it would connect to his elder sister…

"Uhm, hello? It's weird for my uncles to contact me this way."

"Oh, it's Deep Darkness-"

"Awe, you're my cute uncle younger than me! What's wrong? You sound panicked?"

"Uhm, can you bring a message to your mother for me, please!"

"Sure, I can do that no problem, little uncle."

It was shortly after this that the message had been brought to Night Silver's side while she had been visiting Gatenbarg.

While the crisis may have been resolved, the ripple effects of this kind of issue were still making their way to the far edges of the world. And soon after the news of a new player having been found, and killed, circulated the ranks of the Dragon Lords.

However, the news about how messages could be tampered with, or confused with someone else, it became clear that other methods would be needed to ensure that messages remained safely distributed. Tus Nadair immediately began construction of a type of barrier that would prevent all such issues from ever happening again; it was finished within a month.

Other nations were unable to construct such methods, and instead created new procedures for delivering important information. This resulted in numerous issues, like the time for messages to be delivered. And so, every nation had at the bare minimum a handful of mages that could use the floating board spell, or even fly, prepared in advance, building the system around 3 factors; Magical messages, messages delivered through speedy magic users, and finally a good old fashioned horse riding letterman.

While this new change within the nation's systems was promising, people still feared the issues that the instability might cause. As a result people began to voice their concerns first, while others simply thought about it… "Where would life be the most stable?"

And thus began what would later be called the great migration. People from the nations near Tus Nadair were split, most returned to Tus Nadair, while some remained. Nations that were a bit further away had the idea to move closer to Tus Nadair, which replaced the populations of those who sought refuge in Tus Nadair's borders.

The nations that suffered the most were obviously the ones that had a massive loss in their populations. As a result of this loss some kingdoms fell from the world stage and lost their independence, opting to unite into larger nations in the hopes of resolving the major issues more readily. Other nations began offering rewards for continued population expansion, it was that difficult.

Seeing the issues that this migration caused, and knowing that- even through no fault of her own- was the reason behind it, Night Silver decided to send gifts to these nations to help with fundamental issues like food, and the occasional high level mage to aid in the health of their nation.

Her actions further demonstrated the ridiculous might that Tus Nadair could wield. It didn't matter what type of power it was, they were objectively seen as the strongest by far. If a nation was struggling with their food reserves, Tus Nadair would step in. If they were struggling with their public health, Tus Nadair stepped in. Though if it was anything else, it would have to come by request of that nation. Why? Because mobilizing an army just like that, isn't great for anyone's wellbeing.

Soon, Tus Nadair became the shining example of what a nation should be. Their technology, magic, military, economics, politics, and even culture were seen as the goal for most, if not all. There were of course some nations that refused to legalize bear chested women in public, it was out of fear of what would happen to public order, a fear largely born out of self-important ignorance.

Peace continued on the continent for another 50 years before any new major events took place. What was it this time? Tsa. Tsa had returned, and became the new head of the Argland Kingdom, reforming it into a nation for all peoples, including goblins and other species like that. He then renamed the nation to Argland Council State. And he sent a missive to all other nations:

"This is to announce my return, as well as my support of my new nation. I've come to the conclusion that the people should decide their own fates. They should be the ones to make the laws that will bind themselves. And thus I have decided to reform the Argland Kingdom, into the Argland Council State."

Night Silver giggled, holding another of her newborn children. "What a hilarious idea. It really took him this long to come up with what I had ordered to be done nearly 350 years ago."

"Yeah, my brother had a rather long stupid phase, even for a dragon…" Anastasi, and Issanth said in unison, holding their own newborns.

"I really am glad he wasn't my lover for all that time."

"True, his ideas slowly became rooted in jealousy."

"I don't care about all of that, I think sister had the right idea. These little darlings are just the cutest."
