Seeing Lin Chen suddenly appear behind her, Xu Wei was initially startled, but then she couldn't help throwing herself into his arms.
"You bastard, you scared me to death." Xu Wei said tearfully, her small fists pounding on Lin Chen.
Lin Chen chuckled, "You really underestimated me. How could a small robot possibly cost me my life?"
"That robot clearly exploded just now. How did you escape?" Xu Wei asked curiously.
"I can teleport," Lin Chen said with a grin.
"Teleport?" Xu Wei was momentarily dumbfounded. She felt that the young man in front of her was too mysterious, even beyond her imagination.
Just then, sirens sounded in the distance, obviously attracted by the explosion.
Lin Chen grabbed Xu Wei's hand, "Let's go. I'll take you to catch the killer maniac."
"But, hasn't the killer maniac already self-destructed?" Xu Wei asked, puzzled.
