Alan stood near the gate with his head lowered, his hands hanging uselessly by his sides. His suit was creased, his jaw already swelling slightly from Leo's punch earlier, but he did not move. He did not try to leave. He did not try to explain himself. Because he knew what he had done was unacceptable.
Suddenly, Jay's car screeched to a stop, shattering the silence.
Jay got out first, his face twisted with rage, his eyes burning with disbelief and fury. Jace followed closely behind him, his expression dark, his jaw clenched so tightly it looked painful. They had already heard everything and rushed to Spring Villa immediately, and the moment they saw Alan standing outside, their anger boiled over.
Jay did not hesitate.
He walked straight up to Alan and punched him hard across the face multiple times.
