Chapter 6 - The King is crazy(part one)

Part one: The Nephew's Return

Arthur and Ozacus had finally decided to leave for good.

Ozacus had planned to head straight home, but when he saw how lost the new Kyle — who was actually Arthur — looked, he thought, why not drop him home first?

After the death of Kalimantan — Kyle's father — it was Aunt Marie who had taken charge of him. She was the only one who had come looking for him.

Ozacus drove him home to where aunt marie lives. Before he entered the mansion;ozacus went for a tight hug -that was full of love and soaked with tears

The sight of it would make the drunkard happy bastard cry

"Whatever happens, brother," he whispered, "I'll stand by your side. You're not alone. You still have me — even if Benny has given up. We both know he's not in his right mind… time will change things."

he sighed, then added softly, "I'm sorry you lost your Wind Bloodline. Now… you're the weakest among the hunts family."

Arthur blinked. So that's it… In this dream, I had a father — and he's dead. And everyone wants me to sign off his wealth so they can take it.

He chuckled under his breath.-"They will be amazed that I am not Kyle....and in this dream I want money to win true love And on top of that, I lost the Wind ability? Hah! At least I've got a tamed dragon with regeneration powers!

Ozacus frowned. "Brother, you're acting strange. Or is it me who's not used to you being this way?"

Arthur simply shook his head. He didn't know what to say. His mind was spinning, and yet, laughter escaped him. He laughed at everything — even things that weren't funny.

But that is his nature ..many people call him crazy..other said the king is so childish...Even when he was thirty five

But that was Arthur's way of surviving. Life was too short to worry about little things. Problems, he thought, made life taste richer.

Ozacus after the embrace he decided to live Kyle at the gate of auntie marie-who was lost his thoughts

This dream is getting strange, he thought. Everything feels real. I remember being stabbed by ice… and I felt pain. Real pain. Shouldn't dreams bend to my will? If I jump off a cliff, shouldn't I be able to grow wings before hitting the ground?

He frowned. Wait a second… I never sleep. I have enough mana to keep my mind awake for days. So if I'm not dreaming… what am I seeing?

A cold chill ran through him. These might be visions.

But visions are about the future… So what does this mean?

He had so many questions swirling in his mind that he didn't even realize the car of ozacus hunt has returned — and Ozacus had been calling his name several times.

"Hey, Kyle!"

When he didn't respond, Ozacus reached out and touched his shoulder. Arthur flinched.

"Brother, what's wrong with you?"

He examined his face carefully, sighed, and said, "I've been calling you forever. You're somewhere else entirely."

"Don't think too much about Uncle Kalimantan's death," Ozacus said gently. "I'll talk to Father. He'll do what he can to help. Just don't sign those papers. Once you do, there'll be no going back. He won't have a way to defend you."

Ozacus stared at him again and laughed uneasily. "You're scaring me, you know. For a moment I thought Benny had chopped off your head and you'd regenerated a new one — that's why you're acting so weird."

Arthur chuckled quietly. If only you knew, he thought. I'm not even thinking about your silly family feuds.

I'm thinking whether this is a dream or a prophecy.

He smiled again, and Ozacus just sighed. "Kyle… you're broken. May the gods save you."

Ozacus slipped a golden ring with bluish oranement into Arthur's hand. "You dropped this. I came back to return it. You should go inside and rest — you're starting to look delirious."

Arthur nodded. "Thanks," he said aloud, but in his mind, he smirked. If only you knew — a man who dreams can't sleep again inside his own dream.

He turned away, laughing to himself. Arthur always laughed — even when it wasn't appropriate.

He walked toward the grand gates of the mansion, guarded by five security cameras, luxury engravings, and drone patrols circling in the air.

"Good grief," he muttered. "These people protect their homes like fortresses. I never bothered with such nonsense in my kingdom. My guards never even guarded me! They used to say, 'No one dares to strike a king.'"

He scoffed. "Maybe. But what if I'm asleep now? Wouldn't that make me vulnerable?"

A sudden thought hit him. Wait… if I'm sleeping, I could actually die. I should wake up immediately!

Then another idea followed. But how did I even fall asleep? I never do. So either this isn't a dream… or someone drugged me.

His lips tightened. It better not be the latter.

He reached the door just as it opened.

Standing there was a woman in her eighties, elegant beyond imagination. Her silk gown shimmered with gold patterns; her jewels screamed old money. Behind her stood men in black suits — high-ranking guards, each one costly to maintain.

Arthur frowned. Don't tell me… this is their chief maid?

The woman's eyes glinted, sharp as blades.

"So, the cursed snake returns after failing to find a family fool enough to help him," she spat. "Didn't you swear never to return to this house again?"

Arthur blinked. So… not a maid. Maybe this teen's wife?

He nearly gagged. If that's the case, I'd rather return to my kingdom full of gold-digging queens than marry someone who could be my grandmother.

The old woman strode closer until she was face to face with him. Her voice dropped into a venomous whisper.

"You are a curse," she hissed. "I refuse to call you my nephew — not after you killed my brother… all because of money."

Arthur's smile faded for the first time.
