Chapter 179 - Chapter 106 Immortality, Ultra Divine Water (Part 4)

There was no doubt that due to the influence of yesterday's Negative Energy, and witnessing Talot nearly lose control of his body to it, their mind had been shaken, resulting in a poor night's sleep.

It took a long time of careful reassurance from Talot before he was barely able to ease their fear of the Negative Energy.

After all, now that there was a solution, the Negative Energy wasn't really all that frightening.

However, for Salari and Raditz, if they were to become possessed by the Negative Energy, they could only rely on their own willpower to resist it.

After all, they couldn't transform into Super Saiyan, nor could they even draw upon the power of the Great Ape.

Speaking of which, during his conversation with the Grand Elder yesterday, Talot also learned from him about the unique evil that lies deep within the Saiyan body.

As a transmigrator, Talot naturally knew what the Grand Elder meant by that evil.

According to the storyline development after the Tournament of Power in the Dragon Ball Super, this unique Saiyan power was finally unleashed through Vegeta.

Even in the parallel timelines explored in Dragon Ball Heroes, only a small number of Saiyans were able to channel this power which is unique to Saiyans.

In fact, it wasn't truly evil—rather, every Saiyan possesses a unique and special power of their own. Because this pure Saiyan power is filled with destructive might, it is often mistaken for an evil force.

"Fortunately, even though Negative Energy is everywhere, it generally can't take form under normal circumstances.

"The reason why Slug's body contained such a powerful Negative Energy entity is related to his abuse of the Namekian race's abilities. Other races likely do not possess this trait."

Knowing that Raditz and Salari were still unable to fully let go of their fear, Talot subtly began brainwashing them.

"However, your most important task right now—first, of course, is to increase your strength; second, you must quickly gain control of your S-cells so that you can transform into Super Saiyan!

"Once you've become Super Saiyan, that will be the time for us to take our revenge."

Changing the topic, Talot's words made Salari and Raditz exchange a glance, their eyes now filled with determination.

Talot was right—if they couldn't even achieve Super Saiyan, then eventually they would only hold Talot back.

When that time came, they wouldn't even be able to catch up, no matter how hard they tried.

To put it bluntly, for the past six months, Talot had been completely waiting for them. Otherwise, they could easily imagine how much stronger Talot could have become.

"Don't worry, Talot. I won't be a burden to you! Just give me a little more time—no more than a year—and I swear I'll reach a power level of over one million," Raditz said, clenching his fists as if making a vow.

"Me too. After the last battle, my power level is already at 900,000! I don't even need a year—just give me two more months, and I'm confident I can make it," Salari added.

Raditz actually felt quite envious of her. If he had been the one to fight in that battle instead of Salari, perhaps he too could have broken past the one million mark in a single leap.

Unconsciously, Raditz had already begun to treat the one-million power level threshold as the gateway to achieving the Super Saiyan form.

Looking at them acting so serious, each lost in their own thoughts, Talot smiled mysteriously.

"Actually, I've already found a special method that can help us unlock our potential and rapidly increase our power in a short time…"

Upon hearing this, Raditz and Salari's expressions tensed, their eyes filled with impatience.

"Really?" Raditz asked in return.

Talot nodded and continued, "Actually, a long time ago, I asked Korin about ways to unlock potential. It was through his stories that I learned of a magical substance on Earth called Ultra Divine Water. After drinking it, it can dramatically unlock a person's potential and greatly enhance their strength. However, Ultra Divine Water also contains a certain amount of poison. If someone doesn't have enough untapped potential in their body, drinking it will kill them."

As he finished speaking, Raditz's face lit up with even more excitement.

Salari was no different. She said, "When it comes to potential, no race can compare to us Saiyans! Talot, were you worried that the poison in the Ultra Divine Water would kill us? Is that why you never brought it up before?"

Upon hearing this, Talot shook his head. "Of course not. It's just that we hadn't yet reached the point where using Ultra Divine Water was necessary. But now, things are different. The time is just about right."

After speaking, Talot couldn't help but mutter silently in his heart: 'When it comes to potential, Saiyans actually rank a few places down. The Frost Race is truly terrifying. I still can't figure out how Frieza reached Goku's Super Saiyan Blue level in just four months…'

His thoughts drifted for a brief few seconds before Salari's voice calling his name brought him back.

After some discussion, Talot finally revealed his plan.

After finishing breakfast, he would first make a trip to see Korin.

Retrieving the Ultra Divine Water was one reason; the other was that it was about time to restock their supply of Senzu Beans. While at it, he'd also bring Korin some tasty fish as a treat.

Over the years, Korin had provided them with no small amount of help when it came to Senzu Beans. Altogether, if not ten thousand, then at least a thousand per person.

If not for the constant replenishment of stamina from the Senzu Beans to support their training, with their foundation and young bodies, how could they possibly have advanced to this level so quickly?

As pure-blooded Saiyans in this era, all the genetic locks within their bodies had to be unlocked one by one by themselves.

Just like the saying: the previous generation plants the tree, and the next enjoys the shade.

The more effort their generation put in and the greater breakthroughs they made, the less suffering the next generation would have to endure—and their starting point would be much higher.

Breakfast was eaten with great satisfaction.

Not just Talot, Raditz and Salari had also found new goals and hopes, which gave them especially hearty appetites.

Fortunately, Gine had prepared plenty of food. Otherwise, it wouldn't have been enough.

You're asking whether Goku was home?

He wasn't.

After sending them back to Kame House yesterday, they still needed Master Roshi's guidance and training. Just because the World Martial Arts Tournament was over didn't mean their training had ended—so he hadn't returned to Mount Paozu.

Now at Mount Paozu, aside from Talot and the other two, the only outsider present was Bulma.

After finishing the meal, Bulma had to head back to West City to discuss expanding the backyard with Dr. Brief.

She used to think her backyard was already large enough, but now, with more and more things happening—especially with an enormous space battleship that needed to be brought back from Planet Namek for research—the entire rear area needed to be remodeled.

Naturally, the task of escorting her fell to Salari.

So after breakfast, Talot left Mount Paozu and arrived first in the major capital near the Southern Sea, South City.
