Elysion looked at the empty hall before closing his eyes. The scene before him was still vivid in his mind.
Nathan was standing on top of a cliff, letting the wind brush his skin as if that was the only thing that made him think he was still alive.
Nathan turned around. While keeping his hair fixed from the wind, he said, "Teacher. I don't know how many lives I have actually gone without calling you."
"What are you talking about?" Elysion was baffled. Nathan had turned back time again and again, but this was Elysion's first life. Or at least, that was what Elysion knew.
Nathan's face was calm, but Elysion could see the exhaustion that was buried underneath his eyes.
Coupled with that statement, he realized what Nathan had gone through.
"I'm very thankful to you, Teacher. Without you, I wouldn't be able to stand here right now.
"That is why I am ashamed to say that this will be my goodbye."
