"Please stop it, Dad!" a young kid screamed while raising both arms to protect his head. His body curled like a shrimp as a barrage of punches and kicks landed on him.
The kid's body was already covered in bruises, so the hits just made it even worse.
"Aren't you acting like a smartass? What do you know? What did you say earlier? Tell me!"
"I just saw the drugs over there. I didn't do anything. Please stop hitting me."
"What did you say? You saw what?" The father continued beating the kid.
The kid gritted his teeth and screamed again, "I saw nothing. I didn't know anything. I'm sorry, Dad. I didn't know, I didn't know, I didn't see anything, I didn't see anything."
The child continued to repeat the same words over and over again. His expression was filled with despair, looking at his scary father.
His face was so distorted that there was nothing else but fear reflected on it. Eventually, the beating stopped.
