"You sure this is a good idea? Last time you took in a siren trait you almost died." Lil asked concerned.
"Last time it wasn't the siren trait that almost killed me. Besides i've upgraded my body trait to it's mythical grade so even if this strains my body it shouldn't be beyond what I can handle." I said confidently.
"Best of luck man." Mordy said and Brick just gave me a thumbs up.
"It's just another step towards godhood right? I'm sure you'll be fine." Roland said patting me on the shoulder.
They all got a good distance away and put on their extra dark sunglasses as we all expected quite the lightshow this time.
"Here goes everything." I muttered before nudging the trait to integrate with me.
Immediately I began floating as a blinding green light erupted from my body and my wings fully manifested behind me. On my body green swirling tattoos fully crept over my legs leaving no single part of it uncovered. Internally the trait sang effortlessly next to the others and the change I was fully expecting came as the resonance between the traits grew great enough that they began to almost rub together. -
Slowly the three traits began to fuse and disperse into my original powers as an illusion of looking at the entire planet both inside and out filled my mind. The truly terrifying part however was what I saw inside the planet. An endless sea of eyes, mouths and tentacles writhing uncomfortably like an eldritch god made flesh. It didn't make sense as though it COULDN'T make sense. The illusion ended as fast as it came as the traits fully dispersed into my original powers. In their place a new trait sat feeling much denser than all of them combined before [Phase-god(incomplete)-Mythical grade].-
Despite the traits making it up being gone I could still feel their abilities waiting to be unleashed. The glow surrounding me dimmed but my wings remained like solid green glass structures attached to my back. Unlike all the other times they appeared I felt real weight on my back this time. For a few minutes I played with my new limbs, stretching out one while the other remained folded behind me. Wiggling them in every which way I could, the works.
"Any reason you still have your wings out?" Lil asked curiously.
"Can't put them away anymore." I said helplessly.
"So you mean to say you are a legit angel now?" Mordy asked teasingly.
"I fucking know right? Do you have any idea how damned annoying doors are going to be now!?" I complained.
"I assume something dramatic must have happened if your wings are permanent?" Roland said calmly.
I grinned "You are looking at a bonafide incomplete god! Phase god specifically." I said puffing out my chest proudly.
"Incomplete? That because you don't have all the powers?" Brick asked curiously.
"Probably. Still I'm only missing three and all sirens are drawn to Pandora so I just have to wait for them to get here to cash in on those traits too." I said with a shrug.
"So like can you use my powers now or not?" Lil asked with a burning curiosity.
I flexed my new siren awesomeness and passed from the normal word to this strange almost blue-ish hued one that was moving in slow motion. I willed myself behind her and with and "whoosh!" of energy appeared right there in the real world.
"Did you just teleport or do what I do?" she asked confused.
"Teleported. As it turns out you just gotta kinda imagine yourself in a different position without ACTUALLY fucking moving and then push your powers to do it. Genuinely hard to describe honestly." I said frankly.
"Vague as hell but I'll give it a try." she said and with a bright flash of orange vanished before reappearing almost immediately afterwards across the room. "Holy shit! That actually worked!? Why did that work!?" she exclaimed in shock and anger.
"Something tells me you've been making it more complicated than necessary." I said with a chuckle.
"It's teleportation though! You have to have your longitude and latitude right? There's math involved right?" she asked less like she was genuinely asking and more like she was trying to convince herself.
"Lil, siren powers don't use math. They use feeling, instinct. Try to rationalize those powers and you'll only cause them to flop." I said with a chuckle.
"That's so stupid though!" she complained.
"Blame the ones who made the damn things so user friendly for that. It is what it is." I said with a shrug.
"So what now?" Brick asked casually.
"Whatcha mean?" I asked for clarity.
"I mean what now. We killed the big bad, opened the vault and you've got Lil's powers. What's next?" he clarified.
"That's... actually a good question. What DO we do now?" Mordy said with a frown.
"Well i'm waiting for Atlas to finally keel over so I can devour it but I suppose that might take some time. Think i'll relax a bit and let my cult overrun the planet while I do some archeology. Who knows, might even uncover another vault." I said with a shrug.
"Until you reminded me just now I forgot you even had a cult. Any idea what they are up to?" Roland asked.
"Pfft, no! I'm sure it's fine though." I said with a scoff.

(3rd person POV Little league main encampment)
Vater, voice of the great god demon, first of the ascended, the unifier and blood song of fire sat on his throne of bone taken from the unbelievers and heretics. In front of him two unascended individuals kneeled. One bore a helm of spider ant and title of Clipper. The other a helm of Rakk and title of Toenail.
"The unworthy Bone smasher clan refuses to hand over the sacred site the great god demon commanded us take?" he said seeking clarification on the report they brought him.
"Yes, lord Vater. The heretic scum entrench themselves deeply behind thick walls we lack the power to break through." The one known as Toenail said seriously.
"What of the explosives we obtained from the assimilation of the Sandy crack Clan?" Vater asked with a frown behind his mask.
"Sabotaged lord Vater. A midget of the Bone smasher clan hid under disguise as one of our one before destroying the pile." The one called Clipper reported.
"Hmmm, Is the great god demon returned yet?" Vater inquired firmly.
"There are reports of his godlinesses presence around the town of Fyrestone." Toenail said.
"Go to the great god demon and plead him ascend you both. Tell him of our plight and his wisdom will provide a solution. Though the suffering will be immense hold fast your belief! It is worth it!" Vater said firmly.
