Despite being so successful as a soldier Knox didn't have any good traits that stood out from the average soldier. Still I took the measly one hundred and thirty lifeforce he had left all the same. The rest of the soldiers were thankfully not at the twilight of their life so had robust lifeforces that were much better. It wasn't much just a humble 47,591 units. Okay so MAYBE my perception of what counts as a lot of lifeforce is a bit skewed now that I get so much so often but to be fair I have been spoiled for sources.-
All good things come to an end though and I knew after this daily my intake would drop quite a lot unless regularly found vaults or straight up consumed rare earth metal meteors or planets. Honestly though that seemed like such a waste since I wasn't exactly in a hurry to grow stronger at the moment. Sure I'd take any chance I got but to be brutally honest I was next to unstoppable at this point. Once I finally cleared out that Ratch collection, while saving me enough to grow my own of course, I'd grab Lil's siren trait and that would shore up my only real remaining weakness.-
"Alright folks lets get to that armory so we can get our loot and get out of here." I said cheerfully and headed for the door that needed the code to get there.
"Blue, yellow, cyan, orange." Mordy said as he punched the colors into the inputs.
Once the last was in place the door unlocked and opened not trouble. We eagerly went in and followed the hallway to the main console that doubled as the elevator to the armory proper.
"With Knoxx dead I have no need to mask my signal anymore. Once you attach the detonator and activate the descending mechanism for the elevator the clock starts ticking. Grab as much as you can carry, consider it payment for all the help. Athena out." Athena sent over the echo.
"Roger that a-lady!" I sent with a chuckle as I hooked up the detonator to the console and hit descend.
Behind the console was a Lance helmet style decorative mount that had various wires and tubes coming out of it that I found tacky personally but I didn't make the place so it was whatever.-
The armory itself had a fuck ton of almost cartoonish warheads alongside the MANY red chests and lance chests that we all sprinted off to open and loot. I simply left the portal to my house so we could open all the chests and toss the contents into the place. Lil phase walked between chests opening them without looking while the rest of us sprinted about the place like madmen opening chests in different directions. Roland took the lift to the stashed chests over there while Mordy, Brick and I took the remaining directions. I myself phase locked mechs to toss them through the portal with cockpits full of guns. -
Knoxx had not been stingy with outfitting his army as the lowest quality we found was Rare. There was plenty of epics and even several legendary weapons as well. However there was one weapon that made me stop entirely as I identified what it was based on the cyan rainbow light it gave off, a pearlescent.

'I'm just gonna pocket this.' I thought slipping that particular gun into my inventory.
I was all about fair loot distribution but my collectors instincts were screaming at me when I saw the pearlescent. I'd bring it up with the others later though. If it meant a loot cut on the rest of this stuff then so be it. Soon enough though we ran out of time and high tailed it into my house before teleporting away to Fyrestone. My entrance room where we hung out was a fucking mess with easily hundreds of items thrown about haphazardly and then those mechs and bits of equipment that did NOT take up a small amount of space.-
The first thing I did was move those to my workshop since I needed to remove the brickware on them. The other pieces of equipment I had ripped out of the walls also followed suit. Finally it was time to sort and tally up the guns, grenade mods, shields and qualities of things. That took the longest as we had to make sure we kept our numbers straight and not double counting stuff. The final count after double checking our numbers were 37 grenade mods, 73 shields, 158 guns, 68 Rares, 91 epics, 107 legendries and 2 pearlescents.-
The second pearlescent was a shield that Brick looted apparently.

"So I REALLY want these pearls, how we do that? We each get fifty three things by the way." I say honestly after counting everything.
"Ten of your legendries split between all of us." Roland said and the others nodded in agreement.
"Hssss! Harsh but fair I suppose." I hissed before agreeing
The loot was split up normally after that and all of mine went straight to my armory to collect dust and look pretty.-
After that, well there was no after that really as we just got to sit back and take it easy. We made a day of slaughtering the majority of the Ratch collection the old man had for me earning a ridiculous 2,731,119 units of lifeforce that I used immediately to grab Lil's siren trait but waited to collect more body traits to cause my legendary grade [Supreme body] trait to go up a grade. The next step in evolution as it turned out was the [Demi-god body-Mythical grade].-
I also got a few more Pollygrog eggs that I dumped those traits I had floating about in. Being a demigod didn't feel that different from being a supreme to be honest. Like obviously my limits were WAY fucking higher but otherwise it was pretty much the same. I set aside a day specifically for integrating Lil's trait to see whether my theory was right or not. In the meanwhile I spent most of my time de-brickwaring the Atlas brand stuff we got since the company was rapidly approaching the tipping point now that Knoxx was dead.
