Quinlan looked the Goddess over, simply forced to. And this time, he was not simping for a hot woman. Her entire form was so otherworldly that he was struck for a few moments.
His eyes traced her from head to toe, then back again, slower the second time, as if his mind needed confirmation that what he was seeing was real.
The dress clung to a human outline, tasteful and restrained, yet it failed to anchor her presence. The surface beneath it refused to stay fixed. Patterns drifted across her skin in measured motion, slow and vast, like distant lights shifting their routes across a sky too deep to chart.
Even her teeth caught his attention when her lips parted slightly to smile at him, though it didn't feel like a motion of warmth.
