"That's right! It's the evolved form of Electabuzz—Electivire!" Ash explained to his companions, knowing they were unfamiliar with this Pokemon.

"Electivire?!" Misty and Brock had never heard of or seen such a Pokemon before, but looking at the imposing figure standing before them, it was clear that this was definitely a powerful creature.

It wasn't surprising that they hadn't encountered one before. Although the evolutionary chains in this world had been established from the beginning, unlike the gradual reveals in the video games, their experience was still primarily limited to Pokemon from the Kanto and Johto regions.

Electivire originated from the Sinnoh region, appearing in the Diamond and Pearl games. In those games, evolution required Electabuzz to hold an Electirizer while being traded with another trainer. However, since trading wasn't possible in the real world, the evolution process worked differently—similar to how Eevee could evolve using evolution stones, Electabuzz simply needed to absorb the power from the Electirizer directly.

Like Electabuzz, there was another Pokemon with a similar evolutionary history: Magmar. The Fire-type had also first appeared in the original generation, while its pre-evolved form Magby was designed for the second-generation Gold and Silver versions, just like Elekid.

Later, in Diamond and Pearl, Magmar's final evolution, Magmortar, was designed alongside Electivire. The evolution method was identical—using a Magmarizer instead of an Electirizer to trigger the transformation.

These Pokemon shared the same destiny and nearly identical base stats, making them perfect counterparts to each other.

"Electi-vire!"

Electivire responded enthusiastically, maintaining its characteristic mischievous grin. The Electric-type seemed extremely excited about its new evolved form.

As Electivire walked toward Ash and his friends, Misty and Brock unconsciously took a step back. The tall Pokemon's appearance was certainly intimidating, with its fierce-looking features and imposing stature.

Electivire approached Ash directly, looking down at the young trainer before slowly raising one of its massive hands and clenching it into a fist. The fist began descending toward Ash, causing both Brock and Misty to gasp in alarm. Misty nearly screamed at the sight.

However, Ash didn't flinch or move away. When Electivire's fist—which was easily as large as Ash's entire head—came down, it suddenly stopped just inches from the trainer's face.

Misty and Brock held their breath in terror, but Ash simply smiled when he saw the massive fist hovering before him. He slowly raised his own hand and gently touched his knuckles against Electivire's enormous fist. Electivire's grin grew even wider, and it squinted its eyes with obvious pleasure.

"Whew... that scared me to death!" Misty exhaled deeply with relief.

"I should have known its way of greeting would be as rough as its appearance!" Brock scratched his head and laughed awkwardly at the misunderstanding.

At that moment, Togepi, who had been nestled safely in Misty's arms, suddenly broke free again. Before Misty could react, the tiny Pokemon ran forward excitedly toward the towering Electivire.

Togepi stopped directly in front of the Electric-type and smiled up at it with innocent joy. Electivire looked down at the small Pokemon, and under Misty's horrified gaze, it extended one of its flexible tail cables. The appendage, which resembled electrical wire, gently wrapped around Togepi and lifted the baby Pokemon into the air to play.

Togepi appeared absolutely delighted by this unexpected game. When Pikachu and Jigglypuff saw how much fun Togepi was having, they ran over and jumped onto Electivire to join in the play.

"It seems that despite its rough exterior, it's actually very gentle on the inside," Brock observed with relief, and Misty nodded in agreement.

Ash watched the scene with a somewhat complicated expression. If Misty knew that Electivire's twin tails could easily discharge more than 20,000 volts of electricity when grabbing an opponent, she probably wouldn't feel quite so relaxed about the situation.

Even though Electivire was behaving kindly, there was always the possibility that it might accidentally release an electrical discharge and hurt Togepi.

"Ash, what should we do next? Do we need to explain everything to the authorities?" Brock hadn't forgotten about their main mission, and the situation above ground was still serious.

"That's right! We should go tell Officer Jenny immediately!" Misty added urgently.

"Electi-vire!"

Before Ash could respond, Electivire suddenly spoke up. Still holding Togepi gently, it turned slightly and gestured for everyone to follow it.

The three trainers exchanged puzzled glances. Brock quickly retrieved some rope and tied up the unconscious Cassidy and Butch, leaving the Grimer to watch over the captured Team Rocket members. Then they followed Electivire deeper into the sewer system.

Electivire led them around a corner and into a spacious underground chamber with a ladder leading upward. This section of the sewer system had three walls, each containing a circular drainage opening about four meters in diameter.

The openings were covered with heavy iron mesh barriers. These three drainage passages looked remarkably new and clean, with no sewage flowing through them. However, they were significantly larger than any of the other sewer openings they had encountered. Such massive drainage systems would only be necessary for removing enormous quantities of pollutants.

"What is this place?" Misty wondered aloud.

"Electi-vire!"

Electivire pointed toward the ladder beside them. The three trainers looked at each other questioningly, but Ash took the initiative and began climbing up first.

Misty and Brock followed immediately behind him. They were more than ready to escape from the underground tunnels. Ash reached the top first and pushed open the heavy cover, climbing out into the daylight.

He then reached down to help pull up Misty and Brock. Electivire emerged last, still carrying Pikachu and the other small Pokemon, and they all finally saw sunlight again. It was only then that they realized they had surfaced in a large public square.

"Where exactly are we?" Misty asked with confusion, unable to immediately identify their location.

"Wait! Isn't that...?" Brock suddenly pointed straight ahead.

Ash and Misty turned to look in the direction he was indicating. There stood a tall, imposing building—the headquarters of the Honda Group.

Looking behind the square, directly adjacent to the Honda Group building, they could see several enormous factories arranged in a very systematic pattern.

"Electi-vire! Electi-vire!" Electivire pointed emphatically toward the industrial facilities ahead.

Ash studied the scene more carefully and immediately understood what was happening.

"Now I see what's going on!" he exclaimed with sudden clarity.
