Callum settled on the edge of the bed, his hand finding hers in the dim light. "How are you feeling? Truly?"
Samantha took stock—the pleasant ache in her muscles, the deep contentment settling into her bones, the overwhelming sense of being exactly where she belonged.
"Perfect," she said honestly. "Sore in the best way. Loved beyond measure. Complete."
Callum's thumb traced circles on the back of her hand. "Good. That's what we wanted—for you to feel cherished, not just used."
"Never used," Samantha assured him. "Always cherished. You three have a way of making intensity feel like worship."
A soft chuckle from behind her made Samantha realize Marcus was awake. "Worship is an appropriate word," he murmured, his lips brushing her shoulder. "Though I prefer reverence."
"Big words for someone who was growling like a feral creature an hour ago," Kai mumbled without opening his eyes.
"Two hours," Callum corrected with his typical precision.
