Lydia started drawing little circles on her lap as she diverted her gaze from the treats to the flowers at the side of the table.
'I want to eat in this place again though.'
'I didn't know they had a greenhouse this pretty.'
"Do you want to look around before we leave?" Qhah-el asked, so she turned to him.
'Of course I want to.'
'Most of the flowers here are new to me.'
"Yes, I would like to."
"Then do so," Qhah-el said as he leaned back in the chair. "I'll wait here."
Lydia blinked.
'Did I mishear that?'
'I don't think so.'
'Well… that's totally unexpected.'
'He talked like he was inviting me, but he's actually not planning to accompany me… haha.'
'But at least the stroll won't be awkward if it's just me,' she thought as she stood.
Then she wandered off among the flowers, gradually forgetting about what had happened when she saw how beautiful and unique the flowers are.
As she moved around, Qhah-el's gaze followed her every step.
