[The Warehouse - Outskirts of Richmond City]
The tactical units moved with practiced precision, surrounding the abandoned warehouse. Agent Pierce led the approach, his hand resting on his weapon, while Monroe coordinated from the command vehicle.
"Building is surrounded," Pierce reported through his comm. "No signs of movement inside."
"Proceed with caution," Monroe's voice crackled back. "Roberts is dangerous, and we know he's armed."
The team breached the entrance, weapons raised. Flashlights cut through the darkness, revealing the warehouse's interior: rusty equipment, scattered debris, and the faint scent of damp concrete.
There, toward the warehouse walls, lay Detective Roberts.
Pierce approached first, weapon still trained. Roberts was unconscious, his eyes closed, his face peaceful in a way that sent chills down Pierce's spine. There was blood and clear evidence of a struggle.
"Roberts is down," Pierce said into his comm. "Unconscious, but breathing."
