Alex's clones were slowly gaining the more energy for him which was working in conjunction to improve his strength.
When real Alex is left alone at apartment by Tom, he practiced his wing element in secrecy. All the energy he had invested came into fruition when he completed manifesting the seven star around the wing element core in his mind.
Now all that was left is creating energy sync in stars to manifest the skills. Alex suddenly felt that he is receiving some sort of information in his mind, this information originated from the clone element.
Information was actually a warning sign that some one have captured his clone.
Alex quickly used the clone element as a medium to connect his mind to the clone to observe what is happening.
What he saw was five rotten corpses walking around him, but they didn't looked weak at a single bit. They had the claws and nails which seemed very sharp, even comparatively more sharp than sharp knive set of the chef in the previous life.
'So, this is the doing of servants of Eternal darkness who live in the city of sins.' Alex knew who these people are but he didn't know that he had made such change that would worth gaining the attention of Eternal Darkness. Which meant he had underestimated the desire of others toward knowing and experimenting with new element. If he think now clearly it all make sense because his wings element seem to be related to dark element category which increase the curious nature to another level toward all this.
'Why didn't I think of that? Should I call the clone back but that can cause a problem for my clone and Arc.' When Alex was try to think things through, he heard some sound around the clone through its senses.
This sound wasn't of rotten bodies, or should I say the 'dark walkers'. It was human footsteps sound because it was tether orderly and rhythmic.
"So, you have finally woken up. I thought you would stay half slept for darkness know how long." It was person with black mask. From body structure it seemed like a man or boy.
"Huh, how much of cheap shot are you, you even changed the iconic dialogue of for god know to darkness. I meat how original." Alex was thinking it in his mind but he didn't realize that he had said through the mouth of clone.
'Woah! Now I think I am in big trouble.' Alex thought to himself. He was feeling no threat even though he felt scared seeing those disgusting things, because deep down he knew that he can't be hurt by these propoe because in reality he is far away from there.
"You are first one to try and mock me. But your this mockery would also be last because you will quickly be thrown into experimental lab of us where we would study you and your element." That masked person said.
Alex quickly tried to break from the iron chain he is bound in but it was futile. This was just the show that Alex put to show that he is also scared which would give the kidnaper assurance that he is one in control of things.
What he learned for my he movies and shows that villains in conduction where they feel in control of everything usually make mistake or reveal some information to them, there also worst chances of masked person getting annoyed and killing him. But he does not need to fear that as it's just a clone.
"It's hard psychic metal forged chains that can contain the apprentice level psychics from using their powers and making them powerless." Masked man said while laughing in typical villainous manner.
'So, that is the case which made him so confident. My clones does not uses psychic skill, it is already a product of one in itself.' Real Alex smirked while thinking that this might have been parked against anyone else but not him.
Alex now was thinking that he can't retract his clone from this villain until he get some information from chin is worth it but it is also necessary to maintain the presence with Arc and his family.
So, at last Alex decided that he would send one of his another clone to live with the Arc's family while getting the information out of the villain.
Life wasn't being any entertaining for the Alex in some of the last days, because his clone in the hands of villain was deprived of his sight and he can only some things which was mainly about genetic shit by some crazy scientists. His own self wasn't receiving any mission from the teams where they just just said that missions are easy and there is not need of that many people.
As of clone in Arc's family, it was even more bleak and boring. Only joyful things was that his energy is reaching the point where he can now complete the process of wing element for casting the first skill.
Alex was a little terrified of the pain that he remembered form that day of awakening so he was hesitant to cast this element's skill but he know that just mere pain is less of cruel option than what would be done to him in later chapters of novel if he was caught lacking in power.
'Just few more days, and I will be able to slaver that skill. After which, I would mostly focus on the making psychic equipments.' Importance of psychic equipments were evident throughout all the fights that Arc fought in the novel so he knew that he must also consider this aspect in making improvement and hoarding.

'So, he have finally decided to join the city hunter team. It's early than in novel and some things have changed but it can work out in my favour as I want to check some things.' Now life of Alex was entering the real phase along with Arc where they would face the challenges together.
