Shawn's pov:
I went to Xandra's house as usual but I couldn't find her which I found strange,she usually doesn't go anywhere.
Could she have gone out with Mira? I took my phone and gave her a call but it wasn't going true.
' could her phone be dead? Let me try Mira's then'.
" Is Xandra with you?". I asked as soon as she picked.
" And this is...".
" Oh, sorry, I'm Shawn,the one who always visits her. Is she with you right now, could you give her the phone?".
" Or right, it's you. But she's not with me, I left her at home in the morning,why don't you give her a call".
" What, how could she not be?". I said all panicky.
" Is something wrong?". That's when I came back to my senses.
" No,not at all. I asked her to tell you to take her out, I guess she didn't".
" Oh, you know how lazy she has been this days,she doesn't even want to move an inch, don't blame her".
" I understand. Until later then, take care".
" Alright".
Just as I was putting away my phone, I saw some messages on the interface.
Boss, I just saw Alex entered Mrs. Xandra's house and she followed him out of the house, I'll trail them._
Boss,why ain't you answering? I just saw him take her into a warehouse in New Town, should we take action?_
The last one was a voicemail,he must have called me but was unable to reach me,that could only happen if his phone had been bugged.
" Sh*t". I cursed as I played the voicemail.
"Boss, Alex left but without madam, I'll check out the warehouse and save madam...". After that,what could be heard was his footsteps for a while before one could hear his voice again.
" There are a lot of them, I can't bypass them myself boss,what should I do? Damn, I think I've been caught,un,un,...". That was the end of the voicemail.
My heart skipped a beat after coming into realisation of what has happened, Xandra has been kidnapped,and by Kyle. That son of a dog.
I immediately started my car and headed to our base, I also called Drey and Jade on my way to notify them.
Anonymous boss' pov:
" So what do you plan to do to the girl?". I asked the man in front of me.
We have met once, he's the pillar behind 5 Star underground. The one who pulls the strings behind the scene.
He just told me that they have kidnapped Xandra. I have always wanted Xandra to suffer but I don't want her to die so easily. So, I have to know what they plan to do with her.
I was not in support of them kidnapping her in the first place but they insisted they have to kidnap her if they were to bring her protector to the surface.
I heard it was her brother that was supposedly dead.
" Nothing, we'll just wait. Let them come to us". He grinned evilly.
I nodded.
Shawn's pov:
I stood in front of my family house for a minute just staring. My feet refused to move.
It felt like forever since I'd been there, I pressed on the door bell softly.
The door was answered by my mother, I felt teary looking at her face from up close like that.
" Young Man,who do you want to see?". She asked.
" I seek to meet Rowan". I said softly and bowed my head.
She smiled," you are so lucky,he came back home just now".
" Thank you ma'am".
' of course I know about that, I was trailing him'.
" Come in my son".
A tear fell from my eyes, I couldn't help it.
" My son, what's wrong?".
" Nothing ma,the wind was too strong and dust got in my eye". I said easily.
" Ay, sorry".
" Thank you ma'am".
I was directed into the study,he was just putting off his suit.
He looked back when he heard the door open.
" You are?". He looked at me inquisitively.
" Hey Rowan, you don't even recognize your own son?". I said with a smirk and his face turned white as sheet.
