Alex's pov;
I don't think I ever got to introduce myself properly. My actual name is Kyle,but I go by a different name when I have an assignment to carry out.
5 Star's Don is my father, I was given the mission to stay by Xandra's and monitor her, my father has some doubts about Drey's death.
It's not that there were any loophole or anything suspicious for that matter, everything happened so naturally and perfectly to our advantage. " Too perfect". He had said.
He believes if Drey is really still alive,he would visit his beloved sister. So he asked me to stay by her side and monitor her.
I had to memorize everything about her to the smallest detail. I was also the one that put up the notice for new employee that led her to Col's Designs. I also purposely joined because of her.
I knew she loved knitting and she was looking for work to do so I pulled a little trick that enabled me to stay by her side more efficiently.
You might be wondering what I'd have done if she hadn't applied for the position. Simple, I'll just pull another trick. Con artist is my expertise and I have so many identities that I have to keep my IDs in a case.
This was the first time I ever let my emotion in my job. I've always being professional, maybe it's because I pity her, that's even worse.
I plan to complete my mission soon before I make a mistake.
Authoress pov;
On a moonless night in a alley, two masked men could be seen fighting. They started with a shoot out but they started brawling when they ran out of bullets.
They were fighting so fiercely that they were all bloody from the fight but none will give up for the other. Even after they were both gasping for breathe and were faint from the loss of blood,they still kept fighting.
They fought until one of them was completely knocked out. By this time, their masks were in pieces. The man standing turned his face and he turned out to be Max,or rather, Shawn.
He barely managed to contact Drey before he also fainted.

Drey's pov;
It's been a few days now since I brought Xandra here to Jade's lab. She freaked out a lot when she woke up in a strange place. She only calmed down when she saw Jade.
I was so emotional seeing her through the camera, I wanted to run to her and hug her and tell her that I'm doing well and she shouldn't worry. I wanted to tell her so much that she deserves to be happy.
But I couldn't afford to,at least not yet. It won't take long anymore that I would be able to hug my sister and tell her everything I want to.
I sniffled.
" Are you sad?". Shawn asked beside me.
" Of course I am. Jade said we found out too late and there's little hope".
" Right, that means he has a way". Shawn said.
" If even you could figure that out,do you expect me not to know?". I smirked.
" Do you want to die".
" That's no way to talk to your brother-in-law you know".
" Of course,who could have a better brother-in-law than I?". He said dripping with sarcasm.
" You guys seem way too relaxed don't you think?". Jade walked in.
" We have you, the best doctor and scientist,how worried could we be?". I replied.
" You sure know how to suck up to people". He laughed.
" Of course, I did that all my life".
" This person keeps calling Xandra's phoy, he even tried to track down her location, luckily, I already took precautions. Still he won't relent,he keeps calling everyday".
" I bet it says Alex". Shawn said with a frown.
I frowned too.
" Who's that". I asked.
" He looked so much like the picture of Kyle that you showed us. He calls himself Alex and I always see him with Xandra. Xandra seems to trust him a little too much,she thinks he would never hurt her".
" Bastard". I hissed.
" If it's really Kyle,then he must have a mission but considering that he never tried to harm Xandra,it must be for something else". Jade said.
" Could he be to monitor her? But why?". Shawn looked genuinely confused.
" Unless he thinks I'm alive and would reach out to her".
" Does he suspect us then? Isn't Xandra in danger then?".
" I think he just wants to make sure. He wouldn't take such a soft approach if he really did suspect our death".
"How about Xandra? How soon can you treat her?". Shawn asked.
" I honestly haven't found a way. It's draining her life force and if I were to approach it carelessly,it would drain it even faster and she won't last a week.
I think I've read about it before,so I'm going through my library to find the book and see what I can do".
" Is there really no hope". I asked.
" Hmm, let's just hope there's a way".
