Chapter 467 - Chapter 467: God-King! An Opportunity That Only Comes Once—The Future Mustn’t Be Boring!

Athena is taking action.

Meanwhile, atop Mount Olympus in the Celestial Realm, Poros is also making his move.

"Sigh!"

Seated on his throne, Poros lets out a soft sigh, shaking his head quietly. "Things that needed handling are gradually being dealt with," he murmurs.

"But..."

"It's still far from enough," Poros reflects, a trace of helplessness in his expression.

Though Poros has inherited Zeus's powers—in many ways, he is Zeus—his very existence was never meant to be. Hades and Poseidon represent different facets of Zeus, and as such, Poros' birth could only occur through a convergence of power between Zeus, Abel, and Apollo. All three had to be god-kings or possess the potential to become god-kings to fuse and create Poros, a unique deity of fortune and serendipity.

Under these conditions, Poros emerged as a complete god.

In the realm of god-kings, Uranus, Kronos, and Abel are the truly complete ones. In contrast, Hades, Poseidon, Zeus, and Athena all have inherent flaws that prevent them from being entirely whole. Yet now, through their individual journeys, Hades and Poseidon have achieved completeness.

Hades' fusion of two souls has led to a unified self, while Poseidon, through absorbing the power of an evil god, has filled a void within himself. For a typical god, such a power would have led to corruption, but for Poseidon, it provided the missing piece needed to become complete.

And this is the core issue: Hades and Poseidon have become whole, but Zeus still struggles with many inner conflicts.

Now, with Poros' existence, he finally understands the problem. Unfortunately, he's already lagged behind Hades and Poseidon significantly.

"Sigh," Poros murmurs, "compared to Hades and Poseidon, I'm too far behind. If I can't resolve these internal issues, then most things will remain beyond reach."

"Hehehe..."

"My daughter—or perhaps sister—likely thinks the same way," he chuckles ruefully. "It's truly pitiful."

With this, Poros rises from his throne and leaves the temple. Although the Celestial Realm has lost some power compared to the Sanctuary, it remains intact, and under Hera and Demeter's management, the realm continues to operate smoothly even in Poros' absence.

No matter her faults, Hera is qualified to be queen of the heavens. Though jealous by nature, her abilities are undeniable. Even if she lacks the wisdom of a goddess like Metis, she possesses the necessary talents to ensure things run efficiently. Thus, Poros can focus fully on handling his own affairs.

Athena and Poros—two god-kings, each choosing to make a final stand.

If you want victory without a struggle, you're only fooling yourself. That's impossible for any god. Opportunities come only to those who seize them. Hades and Poseidon both took their chances and carved out their own paths. Without that drive, defeat is inevitable.

Remember, that's not a warning but a reality. For any god, success lies only in the effort they're willing to make.

Hades, Poseidon, Poros, Athena… each god-king has chosen to fight. Only through this effort can they hope to succeed. Beyond that, the future remains a mystery. What lies ahead is something none of them can predict, a fact that looms over the Greek Pantheon.

The world of Greek mythology is undergoing tremendous changes, and grasping this moment is crucial. Failing to seize it will lead to an inevitable outcome. Sometimes, an opportunity is right in front of you, and the question is, can you capture it?

In Atlantis, beneath the Sea Realm:

"It's begun," Poseidon murmurs. His voice, once cold and emotionless, now carries a trace of feeling.

"Poros."

"Athena."

"What choices will you make?"

"And… what does the future hold?"

Poseidon chuckles softly, a sound akin to the eerie laughter of a demon, unsettling and bizarre. But despite its strangeness, Poseidon is truly laughing—a sign of his transformation.

This signifies something, doesn't it?

Poseidon's change is unmistakable. He has gained the ability to laugh, something that suggests a shift in his very essence.

"Poros, Athena, you'd better succeed. Otherwise, this game will be far too dull for me."

"Only having Hades as a rival..."

"A future like that would be unbearably boring."

With these words, Poseidon closes his eyes, continuing to absorb the terrifying power of the evil god, unbothered by what might happen next. He has some idea of the events to come, but has no intention of intervening.
