Yet…
Despite everything, Gaia, though seemingly in control, now found herself unable to grasp the entirety of the situation.
Now…
Everything had begun to change in unexpected ways.
With no other choice…
Gaia could only proceed forward, whether she wanted to or not. The path was set; there was no turning back.
This was destiny.
No other options remained.
Gaia understood this. Frustration simmered within her—she, the Creator Goddess, who once held everything in her hands, now watched helplessly as cracks formed in the framework of her control.
How could Gaia accept this?
Yet, no matter how she looked at it, everything was changing. The entire situation had undergone a massive transformation.
There was no denying it.
Within this path, the mythical world itself was a decisive factor. The mythical world, after all, did not wish for Gaia to remain as its sole, all-encompassing Creator Goddess.
But…
With everything laid bare, what would the outcome be? This was the critical question.
No one knew what lay ahead.
However…
One thing was certain: as changes emerged, the world itself would transform. This was the fundamental truth.
This was the pivotal point!
Remember…
This was no joke but a matter of grave importance, a point no one could alter. Now, everything was starting to surface, and events were beginning to unfold.
So…
What would happen next?
No one could say for sure, not even Gaia, who once seemed to hold everything in her hands. With things now in motion, could anyone truly control it all?
Clearly…
That was impossible.
The Greek Pantheon in the Mythical World! The mythic realm hadn't fully veered from its original course, but it had shifted enough to hurtle forward, racing toward an unknown future.
What lay at the end of this path?
Perhaps light.
Perhaps complete destruction.
But…
No matter the outcome, every god was willing to embrace this journey, except for Gaia, the Earth Goddess herself.
In the previous narrative, they held no hope. But in this new reality, they had begun to find hope. And this was what mattered most.
For the gods…
Hope was the most precious thing.
…
On Earth, in the Sacred Realm…
Athena was deep in thought.
"Athena…" Metis approached her slowly, her voice soft. "What's troubling you?"
Athena snapped out of her contemplation and responded quietly, "Mother, I'll be leaving the Sacred Realm in your hands for a while."
"What…" Metis looked startled, unsure of what her daughter intended to do.
Truth be told…
Since the day of her birth, Athena had always acted boldly, with a courage that even Metis, the Earth Goddess, found astonishing.
But despite her daring ways…
Athena's actions, shocking as they were, had nearly always led to success.
Because of this…
Metis knew it was best not to interfere with Athena's plans. Or rather, all she needed to do was follow her daughter's lead.
In this new era, Metis, once the Goddess of Wisdom, realized she might no longer have the influence she once did.
With that in mind…
It would be better for her to remain silent.
This was the position Metis had accepted for herself, and Prometheus shared a similar outlook. These two wise deities now saw their role as filling in the gaps, understanding that their advice or actions were no longer needed to direct the larger course.
This was what the two wisdom gods saw as their responsibility now.
"Huff…"
Athena exhaled slowly, her voice serious and stern. "Mother, I'll be leaving for a while. There are matters I can't explain fully, but remember: in my absence, keep everything in the Sacred Realm exactly as it is. Do not allow even the slightest change. Remember this, Mother, not even a minor alteration!"
Athena's tone was more than serious—it was a grave warning.
"Sigh…"
Metis sighed softly, opening her mouth as if to speak, but ultimately closed it, nodding. "Athena, I understand. Don't worry."
"Mother, I'm counting on you."
Athena stood up, holding the Staff of the Earth, and spoke calmly, "This is our one and only chance. It's the most likely chance. If we fail to seize it…"
"Sigh…"
Athena sighed once more, her form gradually fading from view.
In truth…
It was just as Athena had said.
In these turbulent times, if they missed this chance, the outcome was almost certain.
Remember…
This was almost certainly their only opportunity. If they couldn't hold onto this, they would be left far behind.
Hades.
Poseidon.
These two divine kings had each found their own path, progressing steadily and firmly along it. Their destinies were set, and no one could change them.
They had no choice but to continue down this road.
There was no other option.
Remember…
The only way forward was to keep moving unless one wished to give up entirely.
Not only Athena but Boros shared this same resolve.
