After seeing those strange things in the mirror, I kept thinking about them for a while. However, by the time afternoon came, I had completely forgotten about it. I left the mansion and went to my room.

There were lots of amateur novels about this on the internet back in the day. There were even fanfics with that theme.
I still remember seeing a DanMachi fanfic like that once.

"I think that was the name." It was a pretty catchy title, so it had lots of readers. But I never actually read it, since I was never too interested in stories that focus purely on romance.
Unless they had a lot of adult content.
I smiled and kept typing. I had already written two full volumes so far — each around 250 to 300 pages — a decent size for a light novel. I want to finish the whole story before showing it to Elma.
Even if Elma says she won't publish it because it won't sell, I don't mind. I'm really enjoying writing it.
So, I kept typing. After several pages of pure development with just one girl, I finally had the chance to write a pretty spicy scene. I don't have much experience with that kind of thing, but I managed to write it quite well.
So well that even I, the author, started to feel a little turned on.
That's when the door to my room opened.
It was Hestia.
"You came at the perfect time," I said, smiling at her.

Some time had passed since my conversation with Luan. I think it's time to give him my answer, isn't it? I've spent the past few days thinking about what to say when I meet him again. I still don't know what the right words are.
Should I say I'll accept him being with other women besides me? That's such a strange thing to say.
Should I just say, "I want to stay by your side"? But that sounds too simple.

I was getting ready to leave the Loki Familia mansion when someone called out to me. I turned around and saw Goddess Loki staring at me. For the past few days, she's been practically stalking me.

The goddess walked past me and out the front door. After she closed it, I stayed there for a while, standing still. Then I turned and looked up at the ceiling. "I need to talk to Tiona." I need to find out if she told the goddess everything that's been going on.
I quickly went upstairs and reached her room. After knocking a few times, the door opened.
Tiona saw me, and her eyebrows rose in surprise. She looked shocked since I rarely come to her room.
"Can we talk?"
"Of course. Come in," she replied.
I stepped inside and waited for her to close the door. Once it was shut, I asked, "Did you tell the goddess what's going on?"
"About Luan and the two of us? No, I didn't tell her. Why?"
"Then why does the goddess hate him so much?"
"Why does she hate Luan?" Tiona thought for a moment before saying, "Maybe because she really likes you and doesn't want you getting involved with him?"
"Does that even make sense?"
"Well… I'd say Goddess Loki loves you. Isn't it obvious?" Tiona said, then laughed. "But thinking about it, the hatred she feels for him does seem really strong. I wonder what happened."
"When Luan was here, did he do something that bothered the goddess?"
"I don't remember anything. Maybe Tione knows what happened?"
"Tione?"
"Yeah. I remember seeing them together a few times. Maybe they're close friends or something?" Tiona said, shrugging.
"Close friends?" I tilted my head.
Tione being close friends with Luan? That's… surprising.
