"What is it?" She asked.
"I have arranged someone for you. He's going to be your husband."
Thalia stared at her father as if he'd gone crazy. She was speechless, confused then back to being speechless because this was the first time her father was saying anything about marriage.
"What? You want me to get married?" She asked as if her ears were deceiving her. Her lips parted, wanting to say more but she couldn't.
"That's right. You have to get ready. Your future husband is coming to see you soon." Mr. Harrison said and he turned to leave, just like that.
Thalia was shocked, stunned even, while her head raced with a lot of questions like who her father wanted her to get married to all of a sudden. And why was she getting married out of all the things he wanted her to do?
