Chapter 777 - Chapter 777: Fire Tornadoes, Chain Lightning, and the Ultimate Cannon Fodder

Through the spider-bot's live feed, William watched the scene in the Long Island mansion unfold. Sunday confirmed that all surveillance cameras had been neutralized and that no survivors remained. Satisfied, William pressed his foot down on Marius's head, pinning him to the metal floor. The werewolf leader's limbs and neck were restrained by electromagnetic shackles.

"Tell your rabid dogs to shut up and get back here. We're moving to the next target."

Blood trickled from Marius's mouth as he endured William's crushing strength. His mind was overwhelmed by both pain and the frightening realization of how physically powerful his captor was. Nevertheless, he let out a bitter, defiant howl toward the open teleportation portal.

The werewolves inside the mansion paused for a moment, then reluctantly retreated through the portal after one last glance at the human corpses.

Once all the werewolves returned to the Yellowstone facility, their eyes turned toward William with primal aggression, emboldened by the recent slaughter.

But before they could act, a sound like shattering glass echoed as a mirror dimension materialized around them.

"Rabid dogs, indeed," William muttered, disgusted by the sight of the blood-covered werewolves.

Flames erupted within the mirrored space. Under the wide-eyed, fearful gaze of Marius and his pack, the fire took on a life of its own. It twisted into a massive cyclone, sweeping up nine of the recently fed werewolves. Within seconds, the fiery vortex incinerated them to ash.

William stepped down on Marius's head again, his voice filled with disdain. "This is why I never consider you intelligent beings. You're just beasts."

He gave another crushing stomp and continued, his voice calm but chilling. "If you want to live, show me your worth. Otherwise, you'll end up like that ash—flushed down the drain."

"Awwooo!"

Before Marius could respond, several large werewolves bared their fangs and growled, defiant and enraged.

William sneered. "Oh? Is this your 'werewolves never kneel' moment?"

Marius's face paled. He knew what was coming.

Sure enough, William raised his hands, and bright blue lightning crackled to life around his fingers. In an instant, bolts of electricity arced through the air, striking the rebellious werewolves. The lightning didn't stop there—it chained through the entire group, electrocuting all the remaining werewolves within the mirrored space.

"Szzzt! Crackle!"

Of the twenty-one werewolves that had returned, nine were already reduced to ash, and the remaining twelve were now charred and immobilized.

Disabling the mirrored dimension, William shook his head in disappointment. With a casual kick, he sent Marius sprawling into a reinforced steel cell. "If they won't cooperate, let them become mindless beasts. Inject the remaining werewolves with adrenaline and other stimulants. Turn them into pure killing machines."

"Understood, Sir," Sunday replied.

William's eyes glinted dangerously as he recalled the werewolves' past tactics. "Also, prepare seventy explosive harnesses. Let's give the Americans a taste of what it's like to face suicide bombers."

"Sir," Sunday interjected cautiously, "I must warn you that deploying werewolves with explosives would escalate this from a vendetta to an act of terror. Seventy simultaneous detonations would have catastrophic consequences for society."

William paused, realizing the truth in Sunday's words. This wasn't just about personal revenge anymore—it would cross into territory that could label him as a global threat.

"Alright," he conceded after a moment of thought. "But we still have that four-star general involved in the sabotage. Equip the werewolves with steel armor. I don't want them dropping dead the moment they take fire."

Within twenty minutes, Sunday manufactured seventy sets of metal armor. The combat robots outfitted each werewolf, fitting steel plates over their heads and torsos to provide extra durability.

Meanwhile, news of the CIA director Robert's death spread rapidly. Long Island police reported the incident, confirming that werewolves had attacked and killed him in his own home.

The other two high-ranking U.S. officials involved in the sabotage plot panicked. Convinced that ordinary safe houses wouldn't protect them, they rushed their families into fortified military bunkers.

However, before they could relax, their communications were interrupted by distant howls echoing outside the base.

"Awwoooo!"

"What the hell? Are those wolves?"

A patrol squad on night duty became alert. The faint sound of footsteps echoed from the darkness around them.

"Stay sharp!" the squad leader ordered.

The soldiers raised their weapons, scanning their surroundings with tense anticipation. The gunner atop a Humvee squinted, spotting a glint of metal in the distance. Without hesitation, he opened fire.

"Ratatatatat!"

Several tracer rounds illuminated the area as bullets tore through the night. The soldiers were shocked to see that some rounds bounced off armored werewolves, while others hit their mark with sickening thuds.

"Enemy attack! Enemy attack!"

The patrol unleashed a hail of gunfire, their instincts honed by countless firefights. They managed to take down a few werewolves, but the rest charged forward, unfazed by pain thanks to the stimulants coursing through their veins.

In seconds, the werewolves closed the gap, tearing through the patrol's formation. Chaos erupted as the soldiers were overwhelmed by teeth, claws, and brute strength.

Inside the base, commanders scrambled to respond. Flares were fired into the sky, illuminating the battlefield. However, this only made the situation worse. The werewolves, disoriented by the bright light, fixated on the human silhouettes now clearly visible. They sprinted toward the base's perimeter, driven by instinct and bloodlust.

Machine gun fire and grenade launchers echoed through the night as soldiers engaged the incoming threat. Yet the armored werewolves proved difficult to kill. The base's defenses faltered as panic spread among the ranks.

From his vantage point, William monitored the chaos through high-altitude drones. Once most of the base's forces were distracted by the thirty rampaging werewolves outside, a new portal opened inside a storage warehouse.

Another thirty deranged werewolves poured through the portal, immediately climbing the warehouse walls and breaking through windows. They charged at soldiers caught off guard, ripping through them with ease.

"Enemy inside the base! We're under attack!"

Within minutes, the entire facility descended into mayhem. Bullets ricocheted off steel armor as werewolves tore through the defenders. Some soldiers tried to flee, hoping to reach the safety of the bunker.

But as soon as they opened the elevator leading to the underground complex, their fate was sealed. The werewolves surged forward, ensuring that no one would escape unscathed.
