Chapter 776 - Chapter 776: An Unstoppable Precision Teleportation

Marius completed his transformation but retained a terrifying level of awareness and control. He growled out, "What exactly do you plan to do with me?"

"Do with you? Heh," William chuckled coldly, observing Marius with curiosity.

Unlike ordinary werewolves, who fully transformed into wolf-headed beasts, Marius was different. His entire body was covered in gray fur, but his facial features remained distinctly human.

William pondered the implications. If all werewolves could maintain rational thought in their transformed state, many desperate for power might willingly allow Marius to bite them. This was a dangerous possibility—one that could not be allowed to exist. His eyes narrowed as he made a decision: Marius, as a mutant, was far too risky to keep alive.

"You'll know soon enough," William said quietly. With a snap of his fingers, the metallic restraints around Marius's limbs and neck extended sharp needles that pierced his skin.

A mysterious substance was injected into his bloodstream, quickly reaching his heart. Within moments, Marius's red eyes gleamed with uncontrollable rage. His human-like face distorted, bones and muscles shifting as his head fully transformed into that of a savage wolf.

"Awwoooooo!"

A deep, primal howl echoed through the room. Marius lost all remaining control and lunged at the iron bars of his cage with tremendous force.

"Bang!"

The cage shook violently, though the bars held firm. However, the sheer impact caused the entire structure to shift a few centimeters.

"Sunday, test if we can control him," William commanded softly.

"Understood, Sir."

Electricity surged from the restraints on Marius's limbs, neck, and chest. He convulsed violently, his body trembling as smoke rose from his singed fur. The once-ferocious werewolf collapsed, writhing in agony.

After several shocks, the rage and bloodlust in Marius's eyes faded, replaced by a mixture of fear and submission.

Submission? William scoffed internally. He didn't believe in such a concept—especially from someone like Marius. Even if the werewolf leader truly surrendered, it wouldn't change his fate. William had no interest in using werewolves as subordinates. He had plenty of more reliable forces at his disposal.

Initially, he had considered using Marius to exact revenge on certain American officials who had secretly aided the werewolf attacks on his shipyard. However, seeing Marius's intelligence in his transformed state made him rethink his strategy.

"Order the two ships operating in Europe to capture some werewolves alive," William instructed.

"Understood, Sir."

Over the next few hours, combat robots captured over a hundred unconscious werewolves from various camps. These captives were transported through teleportation portals and locked in Yellowstone's underground cells.

Six hours later, as dawn approached in Europe, it was midnight on the U.S. East Coast.

In a Long Island mansion, Robert, the newly appointed CIA director, arrived home after a tense day. He parked his car, dismissing his security detail, and hurried inside.

The mansion was brightly lit despite the late hour. His wife anxiously rushed to greet him. "What's going on, Robert? Why did you have us pack our things so late at night?"

"Not now," Robert muttered, his eyes scanning the room. His face darkened when he didn't see his children. "Where are the kids? I called them and told them to come home immediately!"

"Jill's upstairs sulking. She was angry that you ruined her dance. Luke called about fifteen minutes ago—he said he'd be home in another few minutes."

Robert's stomach churned. He had received urgent reports from Europe detailing William's ongoing retaliation. The timing was too ominous. He quickly ordered, "Go get Jill. I'll call Luke and have him meet us at the bridge."

His wife hesitated, knowing how stubborn their daughter could be. Sensing this, Robert turned to his security team. "Two of you, get Jill down here. If she doesn't cooperate, carry her. The rest of you, secure the perimeter. We leave in one minute."

"Yes, boss."

Two agents hurried upstairs. Moments later, a bloodcurdling scream echoed through the mansion.

"Ahhhhh!"

"Jill!"

Robert recognized his daughter's voice instantly. "Go! Find out what's happening!" he barked.

Three more agents rushed upstairs, leaving three others to stay behind and shield Robert and his wife. They positioned themselves near the mansion's main entrance, taking cover behind a reinforced wall to avoid potential sniper fire.

Two of the agents opened their specialized briefcases, revealing portable bulletproof shields stamped with the Devonshire defense logo. The last agent called for backup through his wrist communicator.

Despite being a wealthy enclave, Long Island had a strong police presence, with well-equipped officers and regular helicopter patrols. An emergency call would bring reinforcements in under five minutes.

However, their preparations only accounted for human threats.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

Gunfire erupted from the upper floor.

The lead bodyguard tensed and tried to contact the team upstairs. But before he could speak, a burst of automatic fire followed—a sound unmistakably from Uzi submachine guns.

"Retreat! Retreat!" a panicked voice shouted over the radio. "We're under attack—it's werewolves! A whole pack!"

The transmission ended with the sickening crunch of bones being shattered.

"Go!" the bodyguard ordered, grabbing Robert and dragging him toward the exit.

They didn't get far. A golden teleportation circle suddenly materialized near the mansion's front door.

Through the glowing portal, a dozen werewolves—fully transformed, their eyes gleaming with malice—charged into the mansion without hesitation.

"Open fire!"

The bodyguards unleashed a torrent of bullets, their pistols and Uzi spraying the portal's direction. Four or five werewolves fell, but the rest closed the gap within seconds.

"God!"

Robert barely had time to cry out before a werewolf tackled him to the ground. He struggled helplessly as its jaws clamped around his throat. Within moments, the pain and rapid blood loss consumed him, and darkness overtook his vision.

Silence returned to the mansion.
