"Since the firepower levels in the area are off the charts due to Pyron's attacks, it means users of fire also have a shared advantage. That said, I'm AS POWERFUL AS EVER!" The blue fire on Gerald's leg rapidly ascended into the sky as it coated across his whole body, and his eyes turned straight towards the Great Armor. "Firepower Absorption - Overdrive!" he exclaimed, lifting his left finger into the sky and creating a massive orb that grew with each passing second. He pointed the same finger towards Pyron, and a copy attack raged straight towards him, engulfing him in the Blue Fire Gerald had created. "I had to pile unfathomable amounts of heat to create this, and I don't have enough power to convert it into Emberatalia! That said, I'll use a power I have more experience using to TAKE YOU DOWN!"
Kevin and Itama rushed to the sides of the giant ray of Blue Fire. "We aren't going to let you get all the glory, Gerald! It's either the both of us that become professional entity hunters or NONE OF US!" Before Kevin could unleash an attack to support Gerald's, he noticed Xavier rushing up the skin of Pyron right towards his head. "Just in case the attack won't have a lasting impact, I'LL BE SURE TO ADD TO THE PRESSURE!"
Volume 13, Chapter 25 - No Matter Where I Stand
Itama swiftly dodged the fireballs that raced in his direction as he revolved around the massive beam created by Gerald's firepower, looking back at Kevin, who had been keeping up just fine. "If we get caught by Pyron at the wrong time, then we're going to be wiped out easily!" Itama called to Kevin, using his swords to block a fireball that had nearly blown his head clean off. "Therefore, we'll attack for the lower part of his body before anything el-"
Itama's heart dropped as he glanced at a forming mouth right on Pyron's legs, and a massive beam of fire had come racing straight in their path. "WHAT THE HELL IS THIS MONSTER!?" Itama exclaimed, lifting his swords up and thrusting right through the fire at full force. His heart skipped a beat when Kevin, who had not stopped despite the sudden encounter, jumped ahead of him, his face filled with determination. "How long are you going to make us wait, Forrest?" he asked, his thought process interrupted by a sudden explosion that interrupted the connection of Pyron and Gerald's power.
The force of Pyron's attack had caused Gerald to be thrown back into the dirt, completely vulnerable to follow-up by Pyron. Kevin turned his head back, noticing Gerald lying on the ground due to overstimulation, and looked back at Pyron, who was preparing to attack. "No matter WHERE I STAND, I'LL ALWAYS SAVE MY FRIENDS!" he exclaimed, using the force of gravity to propel himself to Gerald right before another beam of fire came flying straight at him.
"KEVIN!" Xavier screamed from the top of Pyron's shoulder, throwing another dragon-like phantom similar to the one that allowed him to propel through the fire fluently through the air towards him. With insufficient time to make another move, both Kevin and Gerald had been luckily unharmed but still blown away due to the force of Pyron's fireballs, expanding the fire that now stretched across the forest. "If Pyron keeps attacking like that, the entire forest is going to be gone!!" Xavier yelled, clenching both of his fists and expanding the firepower that distributed equally to his hands. "Use everything you have to try and knock Pyron outside the area, THEN GO ALL IN FOR AN ATTACK!" he ordered courageously, throwing his hands back. He heard a rumbling sound from underneath him, followed by an explosion that flung him across the forest at maximum speeds. "Another long distance attack!?" Xavier thought to himself, using his firepower to land right on Pyron's right arm. Kevin, Gerald, and Itama were rushing across the forest while looking at the dark red sky that loomed above them, their fear covered up by their everlasting pride. A large, red orb facilitated by Pyron hovered straight over the forest, growing with every passing second. "Kevin, that's the Cataclysmic Fireball!" Gerald called out, pointing straight to the darkening orb. "If that makes contact with the ground AT ALL, the ENTIRE Winding Forest - no, the entire FOREST AND VALLEY WILL GO UP IN FLAMES!" Kevin wiped a drop of sweat gliding down his forehead, focusing his eyes on the giant ball that changed the entire atmosphere of the sky. "You guys focus on the battle," Kevin declared. "I'll stop that by myself."
