Kevin and Gerald rushed out of the food vault and back into the hallways beside Forrest and Yakasa, who were tending to the three entity hunters that had been sent out to deal with Pyron. Blu and Blossom, their faces filled with surprised, also threw themselves into the mix without second thought. "The top 3 entity hunters in this country have been taken out by Pyron!" Yakasa informed everyone in the room, adding to the negative vibe. "Firstly, these three need IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ATTENTION! Second, we're going to deal with Pyron at the same time as well!" Both Kevin and Gerald's eyes filled with their iconic glows that corresponded with their powers - one purple and one light blue. "Entrust Pyron to us, Yakasa!" Gerald pleaded, turning to Forrest in desperation. "We've been in it's shadows for the majority of our hunt, but this could finally be the chance to encounter Pyron in battle!"
"I see," Yakasa replied, pulling a cigarette out of the pockets of his black cargo pants. "So, we're parting ways already?"
Kevin and Gerald turned to face the Great Armor, their faces as serious as ever. "The king of Death Desert entrusted us to catch Pyron and put an end to his rampage across Nahata! That said, ME, GERALD, AND THE REST OF TEAM PYRON WILL DO ANYTHING IN OUR POWER TO DEFEAT IT!" Right at that moment was when Proximity Transmission lingered in Kevin's mind yet again. This time, it wasn't from the child that had underwent a forced mutation - this time, it was from the fire sovereign itself.
Volume 13, Chapter 23 - It's Time
Kevin dashed straight out of the food bank to the Great Armor where everyone else had been waiting, their facial expressions changing from warm smiles to surprised faces. Everyone besides Stephanie, who was trying to sunbathe on the top of a mountain. "It's time!" Kevin informed all of them. "Pyron's wide open - this is our chance to fight!" Without exchanging any other words with the members, he dashed away from the food bank and used a snowboard he had found by one of the houses to descend the mountain. Back outside the food bank, Stephanie had accidentally dropped her shades in the dirt. Bending down to pick them up, she had noticed that the Great Armor had left the Land of Stone without her noticing. "ITAMA, YOU BITCH!" her voice roared, even being heard by Kevin, who looked back up towards the Land of Stone to notice Stephanie soaring straight down to the Great Armor like she had done in their departure from Death Desert. "You really wanted to leave me to descend the mountain in just a bikini!?"
From the distance, Blu, Blossom, and Yakasa watched as Team Pyron entered the next stages of their mission. "I know they're going to be the ones to save Nahata - I just know it," Yakasa said to Blu and Blossom, putting his arms around both of them. "We'll meet again, won't we, Kevin and Gerald?" Stephanie had finally grabbed onto the left door handle of the truck, her body blowing due to the momentum. "Once I open this door, all of you are DEA-" Stephanie heard a booming sound right in front of the Great Armor, lifting her head up to notice that Kevin had abandoned the snowboard and was now flying on the horizon. She looked beyond the Great Armor's route yet again, blinded by the snow that had acted as dust due to Kevin's impact on the earth around him.
Stephanie let go of the door handle with her left hand, using her Sand Style to slowly turn the knob so she would be able to enter without harming anyone inside. However, she was unexpectedly interrupted by Gerald, who blew her back with a massive wind current due to his teleportation technique. Luckily, she had been able to slip right through at the last second, entering the Great Armor with bits of snow scattered all across her hair. "YOU'RE DEAD. ITAMA KAWASAKI!" she roared, angrily storming over to pull his hair.
"We're going airborne!" Forrest declared, flipping a switch right next to the steering wheel. "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU GUYS!?" Stephanie screamed, banging her head against the roof as the Great Armor rocketed off into the distance.
On top of the Great Stone Temple sat Jennifer Stylus, who had been watching the entire scene of the Great Armor's race down the mountain. "So that's the next generation, eh?" she thought to herself, pulling a cigarette straight out of her pocket. However, she was surprised to see that it was Yakasa's pocket, causing her to jump back. "Yakasa, what the hell is wrong with you!?" she exclaimed, snatching the cigarette right from his hand. Blowing right onto it, she remembered that she needed a lighter - she dug into her pocket yet again, but she had it mistaken for Yakasa's pocket. "Say please," he prompted, trying his best not to laugh at her antics. The temporary vibe among them died down, and all that was left was their view on the Great Armor slowly soaring away from the mountain. "Yes, Jennifer," Yakasa answered her question. "The next generation - the people that were entrusted by King Raja to save the entirety of Nahata. I have faith in them, and I bet they'll do great things in the future."
