Chapter 306 - Research

Itsura and Tofura, alongside some of the other generals in LUO, continued to venture across the island as they noticed the beautiful city blended in with the high-tech robots and flying cars that covered the island. "Living here must be a dream," Itsura said to Tofura, who looked at him ignorantly. Zima, one of the other generals, looked at Tofura questionably. "Something's off with you, Tofura," she said. "Is everything alright?" Tofura looked back at Zima, her expression changing from ignorant to happy. "I'm alright, just trying to take it all in," she replied delightfully. Zima smiled, but it faded after the thought of Nana entered her mind. "If Nana continues with his plan, this beautiful island might be ruined by the time we depart," she thought to herself. The thought of carnage entered her mind, causing her to scream and roll on the floor in pain. "I don't want it to happen again! I can't do this!" she screamed.

Itsura and Tofura looked at each other, then looked back at Zima. "She's still severely traumatized from her childhood," she informed Itsura, who looked at her in worry. "Make sure to take care of not only her, but yourself as well."

Meanwhile in the center of the island, a man sitting in an office with dozens of papers covering his desk continued to spin around in his chair, looking at his reflection and the northern part of the city through the window. "What is the correlation between LUO and these islands!?" he screamed, throwing his desk over and sending all the papers flying throughout the room. "If I can't prove it, my entire country will fall to LUO!" He banged his head on the desk once again, but was stopped by a representative that bolted into the room, propped the desk back up, and saluted him. After dropping his hand back to his waist, he looked at the hot mess of papers his superior had created, his face widening. "Are you still trying to create conspiracy theories on LUO?" he asked. "You haven't gone out drinking in three days because of tha-!"

"I KNOW THEY'RE BAD FOR THIS COUNTRY, I JUST CAN'T PROVE IT FOR THE SAKE OF MY PEOPLE!" he screamed, throwing his pen across the room and splattering the ink onto the wall. "Did you estimate their numbers before they entered the country?" he asked quietly. "There's about six generals walking, accompanied by about 200 soldiers."

"Well… at least the boss of LUO isn't here," he sighed out of relief. "Say, what in the hell happened to Vinnie and the guy who keeps trying to viciously kill her?"

The man chuckled at the president, flashing back to when he witnessed their epic battle. "Just this afternoon, they fought in the central part of the city! No idea where they both went, but I guarantee they're going to battle again tomorrow- like always…"

A few miles away in the forest, Vinnie hurriedly continued to create more and more distance from LUO after Itsura had exchanged looks with her - not just looks of mystery, but looks of knowledge. "Who the hell is that guy!?" she screamed, opening the newspaper she had received back in the early morning while she was still in the city. On the front page, she noticed a picture of Itsura and the five other generals propped around the table, the picture possibly tracing back to Abufan Clouds. On another page, she noticed that Mafua, an island southwest and a few hours away by plane from ART, had been attacked after declining a partnership with LUO. However, this was just a theory, as the attack could not be connected with anything LUO was planning past this point. She closed the newspaper, still thinking about what LUO could be plotting to do with ART.

On the helicopter, Kevin and the rest of Team ENTITY continued to read newspapers and different articles revolving around conflicts on different islands and the impending meeting about to take place in ART. In the picture of attendees, Samantha noticed Itsura firstly out of all of them, causing her to show a disgusted look on her face. "It's that guy from Hamila," Gerald said slowly. "Honestly, I forgot all about him after we got back from Trila. But if Kevin finds out about him, then we're definitely going to have our chances lowered of getting out of here alive."

Samantha nodded, looking at Kevin, who was loudly snoring as his head leaned on the right-side door to the helicopter, still unlocked. Suddenly, the radio in front of Victor started to tweak out, catching everyone's attention. Seconds passed, and they could now hear faint voices on the other side, one belonging to a woman, and one belonging to a man. "Don't take this radio station all for yourself, you dumbass!" the woman's voice screamed. Samantha and Victor looked back at each other as they continued to quarrel, but they were not aware that a third party had access to their conversation. "Why the hell did you guys take our radio away!?" Gerald exclaimed.

Both of the voices went silent for a few seconds, then they burst out laughing. "Who the hell are you?" the male voice screamed at Gerald. Kevin burst into the conversation. "We're here to find out what Dreamalia's motives are!" he revealed, causing almost everyone to try and get him to shut up. "You'll blow our cover!" Samantha whispered, covering his mouth and preventing him from saying any more. "What if these people are working for LUO?"

"I see," the voice interrupted, catching Kevin's attention once again. "Then I give you a choice - will you return to your country, or will you risk your life to find information?"
