"Take care of my son! I don't want any complaint from him!" Kaelan's mother said seriously, her eyes a mix of love and warning. "I have always taken care of him like a treasure."
Ruby smiled softly and nodded, her voice warm. "I promise, I'll take care of him."
Kaelan's father, Loren, cleared his throat and added proudly, "He has always been our treasure, Ruby. Please look after him. He still doesn't listen to doctors properly, so make sure he eats and rests on time."
Ruby nodded again, a little amused. "I will, don't worry. I'll make sure he behaves."
Even Angeline stepped forward, folding her arms playfully. "Ru, take care of Kaelan properly, okay? Don't let him skip meals or run around too much. He's still recovering." Her husbands nodded beside her, smiling in agreement.
Ruby chuckled and nodded. "I will, Angel. You don't have to worry."
