Chapter 4554 - Chapter 4554: As Long As the Fist Is Big Enough

Chapter 4554: As Long As the Fist Is Big Enough

Lin Moyu arrived on the battlefield between the South Pole and the Central Region, flying silently and unnoticed.

Thanks to the Hidden Spirit Pearl, he was completely concealed neither visible nor detectable.

Along the way, he witnessed several large scale battles. Ever since the Bug Stele's restoration, even the Zerg had regained their combat capabilities.

Major battles raged across the void at the South Pole–Central Region border, some spilling all the way into the Desolate Scars. The corpses of many powerful beings floated in space.

Strangely, not a single drop of blood was to be found, and even souls had entirely dissipated.

"North Pole Supreme made a move," Lin Moyu immediately guessed the cause. The North Pole Supreme needed living flesh, blood, and souls to conduct a life sacrifice ritual on the Gate of the World's Wall they wanted to breach it and search for fortune within.

They didn't realize that the so called World's Wall was empty; even if they got in, they'd only find emptiness.

No, not quite: now there was also the new time space tunnel reconstructed by Little Tree.

If they did enter, not even a Supreme could survive for long.

Lin Moyu searched the battlefield, using his connection to the grand array to pinpoint the location more precisely than he'd managed in the West.

He also activated the Cause Seeking Ring, planting the result and further locking in on the right place.

Riding Xiao Peng, he silently crossed half the battlefield, drawing close to where the cross domain grand array was located.

Suddenly, Lin Moyu glanced aside there seemed to be nothing there, yet he distinctly sensed someone.

The feeling vanished a moment later.

"Left?"

The other party was also hiding, suppressing their aura, but lacking a Hidden Spirit Pearl, they still couldn't escape Lin Moyu's notice.

That region looked to have recently seen heavy fighting; fresh corpses littered the area. There should have been blood and soul fragments, but all were gone collected, just like the blood.

This proved it beyond doubt: the North Pole Supreme had indeed taken action.

"Decades have gone by… Wonder what's happening at the North and East Poles."

"The West probably just puts on a show even if fighting breaks out, it's not for real."

"Yet… something feels off."

A strange sensation bothered him, but he couldn't quite say what it was.

He talked it through with Little Tree and Chaos Child, inviting their thoughts.

Little Tree said, "Master, some of the rules of chaos are changing."

Lin Moyu mused, "Because of that thing in the deepest Primal Wilderness?"

Little Tree replied, "Most likely. That thing is approaching chaos, and its influence is growing. You must have noticed the people of the Central Region are fighting with more aggression than ever."

Central Region folk are unafraid of battle and death, but not usually warlike.

Their energy is balanced and calm, even amid chaos and violence their Dao hearts bring this composure.

Yet now, something was subtly shifting that, nudging them toward aggression.

The change was so subtle even they didn't notice.

Lin Moyu saw many more battles and confirmed the transformation:

Chaos Child reflected, "Little Tree, don't you remember didn't something similar happen in our era?"

Little Tree answered, "I was thinking the same. Didn't realize then, but looking back now… Even the non belligerent ones became warlike, not just the warriors."

"I used to think it was for that flower, but, in truth, a few of them never cared about the outside world. Unless the flower was laid before them, they wouldn't have fought. But later…"

Chaos Child added, "Once my memory came back, I reflected maybe what doomed our era was exactly that flower's influence."

Little Tree agreed, "Yes. The flower's appearance invisibly changed us all, sparking great chaos, and ended our era."

Chaos Child mused, "Now that something new is emerging in the Primal Wilderness, is another era's end upon us?"

But Little Tree was doubtful, "Not necessarily. Back then, there was no one in the ancient wilderness able to suppress everyone, so chaos only grew. Now, someone of that caliber exists it may not spiral so wildly again."

Even so, Little Tree was not confident.

Lin Moyu reflected what they said made sense, but holes remained.

Little Tree, sensing Lin Moyu's unease, asked, "Master, do you feel something's wrong?"

Lin Moyu answered, uncertain, "Not wrong, just incomplete.

This thing's arrival is known to us, to the Supremes, so surely to it as well.

With its power, it could easily intercept anything midway so why hasn't it moved?"

"Is it unable, or has this thing blocked its perception somehow, escaping notice?"

"Or maybe it's waiting… When it got the flower long ago, it became the strongest, but didn't truly reign over the wilderness it must've faced some problem."

"Is it possibly waiting for chaos to erupt, or for another being of its level so it has a rival, a stepping stone for further ascent?"

There's a phrase: 'Break before build.' Only the Dao itself knows what the Dao intends.

But one thing is clear it will never be content with its present state. Maybe this emergence from the depths is just its chance.

This new thing, changing the nature of chaos, could very well spark the sort of catastrophe that gives the Dao its opening.

Lin Moyu's speculations left Little Tree and Chaos Child both deep in thought. They pondered their own long ago experiences as they worked through Lin Moyu's logic.

After a moment, Little Tree murmured, "Master considers things more completely than us… Maybe it's waited and watched all this time for just this opportunity.

Whatever this new thing is, it may be exactly what it needs."

Chaos Child added, "Or maybe it simply knows much more than we do, so it acts with better information, while we can only guess."

Lin Moyu agreed, "That's true. Plus, it works in the shadows, observing the whole of chaos and controlling the Supremes' actions it can step in at any moment to push things the way it wants."

Little Tree's eyes gleamed, "But now, we too are about to enter the shadows. Maybe we can finally change the course of things."

Lin Moyu shook his head, "No, not until we're truly strong enough. No matter what happens in the Primal Wilderness, we must stay out of it for now. We just handle our own matters. As long as our fists are big enough

there's nothing we can't solve."
