Chapter 104 - Please, Marry My Mom

---

One drink or two drinks aren't enough, three drinks, four drinks to rinse the mouth.

After drinking for over half an hour, Jon figured Luffy and his crew should have already left the Sabaody Archipelago.

So, he stood up to say goodbye.

"I have things to do, Mr. Rayleigh. Let's end it here for today."

Rayleigh didn't try to stop him, smiling, "Go ahead, go ahead. Remember to come drink with this old man whenever you have time."

Jon nodded.

After saying goodbye to the bar owner, Shakky, he left the bar.

Stepping outside, he was met with countless raised gun barrels.

Jon wasn't surprised, he calmly put his hands in his pockets.

The leading Marine Rear Admiral trembled, "Jo-Jon Joestar. Surrender peacefully. You are under arrest!"

Hearing this, Jon took a step forward without expression.

The Marines retreated repeatedly, their faces full of fear.

Jon's lips curved up slightly.

Once again, I pulled it off perfectly.

After a moment of contemplation, he adopted the persona of a "Pirate Emperor" and spoke coldly, "Stand down. You are no match for me."

His words left the scene in a strange silence.

Almost all the Marines were looking at their superior with questioning eyes.

The Marine Rear Admiral nervously swallowed.

Swearing to the heavens, he really wanted to run.

But the cloak on his shoulders constantly reminded him that he was a Marine who carried the weight of "Justice."

Behind him were the thousands of civilians on the Sabaody Archipelago!

The Rear Admiral took a deep breath, steadying his trembling hands, "Jon Joestar, others may fear you, but I, Mat Verom, do not."

Raising his voice, he commanded, "Prepare to fire!"

With a clatter, the gun barrels were raised again.

Jon felt speechless.

If you're this brave, why not take on the Celestial Dragons instead?

Aren't those fat, greasy bastards more harmful than me?

He shook his head and walked straight toward the Marine formation.

Mat Verom's heart pounded as he hastily ordered, "Fire!"

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The old flintlock rifles spat fire.

Jon didn't dodge, letting the bullets hit him.

Kidding me? With the dual blessings of the "Buddha Form" and the "Azure Dragon Form," these things could only break through if they were magical.

Mat Verom drew his sword, slashing at Jon with all his might.

Jon didn't dodge.

With a flick of his fingers.

Clang!

Sparks flew as Jon's fingers clamped down on the blade.

With the activation of "Impact Force," Mat Verom's beloved sword shattered!

Staggering back four or five steps, the unfortunate Rear Admiral collapsed, his legs giving way beneath him.

Looking up at the man before him, he murmured unconsciously, "Mo-Monster."

Jon: ???

Really, you tried to slash me, and I only broke your weapon. I've been quite merciful.

Ignoring the dazed Rear Admiral, Jon continued walking.

Suddenly, his Stand Cocoon pulsed with excitement.

[bulingbuling~]

Jon stopped.

Looking inward, he noticed that the radiant crystal encasing Little D had several new cracks!

Through the cracks, he saw tiny writhing threads and bubbling black-purple gases.

Jon was stunned.

This style...

A bit too grotesque.

[bulingbuling(〝▼皿▼)]

Sensing his Stand's thoughts, Little D was angry.

Jon quickly apologized telepathically, "Sorry, next time I badmouth you, I'll try to do it behind your back."

[...]

Little D: Though it was raining, turns out you just left me speechless.

Having such an unreliable guy as a master, being a Stand is really stressful.

Seeing Jon had stopped, the Marines held their breath in fear.

Mat Verom gritted his teeth, forcing himself to stand, "Don't move! Jon Joestar, your opponent is me!"

Jon snapped out of his thoughts, glancing at the justice-driven yet weak Rear Admiral.

At that moment, a burly figure appeared outside the encirclement.

Katakuri didn't speak.

With a hum, Conqueror's Haki surged like a tsunami!

Like mowing down wheat, the Marines fell unconscious, their eyes rolling back.

Before losing consciousness, Mat Verom barely managed to turn his head, "You..."

"I am Charlotte Katakuri, Minister of Flour for the Big Mom Pirates," Katakuri said slowly. "Nice to meet you, Joestar."

Big Mom actually sent someone to meet the "Uncrowned Emperor"?

What are these pirates planning!

Filled with questions, Mat Verom collapsed.

Jon pursed his lips.

So, they actually came.

Big Mom's special envoy.

And it just had to be Katakuri?

With hands in his pockets, Jon feigned ignorance, "So, what do you want with me?"

"Mr. Joestar, I won't beat around the bush," Katakuri said seriously. "Please, marry my mom!"

Even though he had mentally prepared himself, Jon was still stunned by the request.

He opened his mouth, wanting to say something.

But for a moment, he didn't know how to respond.

Meanwhile, the Stand Cocoon in his soul was flashing continuously, bling-bling.

The meaning was clear—"Accept it! Accept it!"

After a long pause, Jon coughed lightly, "I refuse."

Katakuri seemed to have anticipated this response, adding, "Mr. Joestar, if you marry my mom and successfully have children, any island or person in Totto Land is yours to choose."

As the saying goes, "A woman three years older is like gold; a woman thirty years older gives you a kingdom."

Charlotte Linlin is indeed wealthy.

As the Queen of Totto Land, she has the means.

But...

Jon couldn't get past his mental block.

He waved his hand, "No more. I will not marry your mom."

Katakuri looked disappointed, "Are you sure you won't reconsider?"

Oh.

Does this mean a proposal might turn into a kidnapping?

Jon smirked, "Katakuri, I didn't give even Kaido face, do you think you're stronger than Kaido?"

I, Jon Joestar, the man who fought Kaido and broke his dragon horn.

Not throwing shuriken from 800 miles away, but a real, head-on fight.

You alone can't take me down!

Katakuri, understanding the implication, explained, "Don't get me wrong, the Big Mom Pirates have no intention of being your enemy."

He paused, "I know you have a close relationship with the Whitebeard Pirates.

In fact, our Big Mom Pirates want to form a similar relationship with you."

The New World is ruled by four pirate emperors.

Now, with a fifth "Uncrowned Emperor" emerging, they naturally want to form an alliance.

For this, the Big Mom Pirates' captain is even willing to sacrifice her dignity...

But it wasn't working well.

Jon blinked, "You mean an alliance?"

Katakuri confirmed, "Yes, we want to form a pirate alliance with you."
