Chapter 103 - The "Public Employee" Volunteers

Hearing that he had caught the attention of Big Mom, Jon instinctively felt a bit panicked.

But then he thought.

Why panic?

Setting aside whether the "Buddha Form" and "Azure Dragon Form" could counter the "Soru Soru no Mi" abilities.

Just one question, if I, Jon Joestar, wanted to run, who in the world could stop me?

The thought brought him clarity.

Jon stood tall, eyes filled with disdain.

Big Mom? So what?

I am determined to be the "King of Escape"!

On the side, observing Jon's expression, Rayleigh nodded inwardly.

No wonder he ascended to the rank of "Emperor of the Sea" in just half a year; this spirit is truly rare.

Thinking of this, Rayleigh chuckled, teasingly, "Actually, you might want to consider approaching Charlotte Linlin. Despite how she looks now, she was undeniably a beauty in her younger days.

Man, don't be too picky. Turn off the lights, close your eyes, and just endure it."

The older the tree, the rougher its bark; the older the person, the wilder they get.

Did you hear what he just said?

Jon's face turned serious, "Mr. Rayleigh, we've joked enough about this. Let's end this topic here."

I, Jon Joestar, would rather die than be forced into such a situation!

Satisfied with his mischief, Rayleigh indeed dropped the subject.

At that moment, a delighted Shakky arrived with a tray.

"Jon, don't be shy." The 62-year-old bar owner, who looked like she was in her thirties, smiled warmly, "Drinks are on the house today."

Before Jon could respond, Rayleigh cheered happily, "That's great!"

Shakky turned her head, "You still have to pay for yours."

Hearing this, Rayleigh's expression froze, "Shakky, you're as strict as ever."

Shakky squinted, smiling.

Meanwhile, at the shipyard.

"Jon Joestar was spotted on Island 13!"

"The pirate madman said he's claiming this area as his territory. Hide your beautiful daughters and wives quickly, or it will be too late!"

"What?! Jon not only wants territory but plans to establish a country here with a massive harem?"

"Yes, yes, and not just any harem, but a multi-species harem!"

"What multi-species harem! Jon himself said that any intelligent being is female in his eyes!"

"That's terrifying! How can there be such a monstrous man in the world!"

"Ugh, I'm only 48, my adventurer's life isn't over yet. I don't want to be ravaged by Jon Joestar!"

"Everyone, run!"

Three men can create a tiger.

Rumors about Jon became increasingly exaggerated and absurd.

In a corner, the Straw Hat crew wore strange expressions.

Chopper tugged on his companion's pants, whispering, blushing, "Hey, Usopp, does Jon often holding me and patting my head mean he likes me?"

Hearing this, Usopp's face turned dark, "Idiot, Jon thinks of you as a pet!"

"Eh?" Chopper realized, "Is that it!"

Suddenly, the reliable Zoro spoke up, "Alright, now's not the time for this."

The green-haired swordsman looked at their captain.

Luffy understood, lowering his straw hat, "Let's go!"

Pirates, after all, belong at sea.

No matter how good the Moby Dick is, it can't compare to the Thousand Sunny.

The group quickly ran towards the lion-headed ship, brushing past a burly man with a scarf.

"Hmm?"

The man turned his head, looking at the backs of the Straw Hat crew, his expression changing.

After a moment's hesitation, he shook his head, "Forget it, just some small fry."

Successfully exiting the shipyard.

The man took out a Transponder Snail from his pocket and dialed a number.

After a few seconds, a voice came from the other end, "Brother Katakuri, how's the mission going?"

"I just arrived at the Sabaody Archipelago," Katakuri said in a deep voice.

After a pause, he continued, "I got lucky; Jon Joestar happens to be here."

There was a few seconds of silence on the other end before a voice asked, "Doesn't it seem a bit unreal? Could it be a trap?"

"I don't know," Katakuri answered honestly.

Jon Joestar, who is he?

The lawless "Madman"!

A bounty of 2.6 billion Berries, the "Fifth Emperor"!

Could such a person be brazenly showing up in a Navy-controlled area?

Katakuri rubbed his temples, "Anyway, I'll try to approach him and invite him to Totto Land."

With that, he hung up and walked directly towards Island 13.

Meanwhile.

Marine Headquarters, Marineford.

"Fleet Admiral! We've got a problem!"

A communications officer rushed into the Fleet Admiral's office in a panic.

Sengoku's face darkened, "What's with the panic! Get out, announce your presence properly, and then come in!"

The communications officer froze.

Facing Sengoku's glare, he quickly composed himself, stepping out of the office.

"Calm down, Sengoku-san." Kizaru, lounging on the sofa, chuckled, "Getting too worked up isn't good for your health."

Sengoku snapped, "Borsalino, break time ended two hours ago."

Kizaru acted as if he hadn't heard, leisurely sipping his tea.

"Reporting!" the communications officer shouted from outside.

Sengoku took a deep breath, momentarily letting go of the slacking admiral, fingers interlaced on his desk, "Come in."

The communications officer entered.

Standing in the center of the room, he saluted Sengoku and Kizaru, "Fleet Admiral, we've spotted Jon Joestar on the Sabaody Archipelago."

"What?" Sengoku couldn't hold back, "Why didn't you report such critical information sooner!"

Communications officer: (o_o)??

"Sengoku-san, don't get too worked up." Kizaru spread his hands, "Weren't you the one who told this kid to leave?"

Sengoku was rendered speechless.

After a long moment, he finally ground out a few words, "I know, you don't need to remind me!"

He turned to the communications officer, "Why is Jon Joestar on the Sabaody Archipelago? Are the Whitebeard Pirates with him?"

"Fleet Admiral, so far, we only have sightings of Jon Joestar!" the communications officer saluted.

"Alone? What's he doing on the Sabaody Archipelago alone?" Sengoku frowned.

Kizaru pondered for a few seconds, then smiled, "The Sabaody Archipelago is under our control, and there are World Nobles' interests there. We can't let pirates have their way.

Sengoku-san, if you're worried, I'll go myself."

"That's rare, Borsalino." Sengoku was a bit surprised, "Volunteering isn't like you."

"As an admiral, it's my duty."

Kizaru stood up from the sofa, a slight smile on his lips.

"Sometimes you have to be proactive, or Sakazuki will never stop nagging."
