KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK.
"Come in," came Sanbao's voice.
This was Sanbao's studio, filled with various musical instruments and cluttered to the point where one couldn't see where anything was. Lin Feng looked around and saw Sanbao behind the piano, motionless, busy with something in her hands.
Lin Feng walked over and asked softly, "Still busy?"
Sanbao hummed quietly. "But I'll be done soon. Did you need me for something, Dad?"
Lin Feng smiled. "No, I just saw you were still working so late and came to check on you."
Sanbao simply said, "I'll go to sleep in a bit, Dad. You should go rest."
She was so engrossed in her work that she was completely unaware of Lin Feng waiting silently beside her. She didn't notice him until she finally finished.
"Dad, you haven't left?"
Lin Feng glanced at the time; it was almost half past twelve. "Are you still going to work?"
