Sanbao sat expressionlessly in Erbao's car.
"Is it because Shao Yang brought his parents over without your permission?" Erbao asked.
Sanbao didn't make a sound. She herself didn't think it was a big deal, but she couldn't figure out why she was angry. Perhaps it was because Shao Yang was indirectly pressuring her into marriage this way. This wasn't what she wanted.
Having lived together for so many years, Erbao didn't fully understand what Sanbao was thinking, but she could guess a thing or two. "I mean, you and Shao Yang have been together for over two years now. It's normal for both families to meet."
"Besides, his parents are here on a work trip and just took the opportunity to visit us. That's not so strange, right?"
"What is it? Do you not see a future with Shao Yang? Is it that you don't like him, or…?"
Sanbao looked out the window. "Erbao, I can be with him, but I don't want to live abroad. I want to live at home."
