It's the sixth day now since Vaelith has been residing in my Innerveil. I hope you are aware of all the things going on around me, even though you can't perceive a thing, but I hope you can feel it. I am on the very edge of a sharp knife, trying not to walk much further.
"Wow, never knew even the second void also appeared. I know normal people can't sense it, but still, this situation seems off. Dont you agree, Svarbhan?" Arvyan asked me, expecting some solid answer from me.
"Well, this is kind of normal if you ask me, and also it doesn't seem bad for a person to clear the void for us, ensuring the safety," Tairo said from behind, catching Arvyan off guard with his response.
"It's been a while, Tairo. I hope you are fully fit now, and I can also see that there are no signs of injury on you, which keeps my mind at ease." Svarbhan said calmly while hugging his long-time standing friend Tairo.
"It was supposed to be a good day for the first day of my classes since the recovery, but the news of the special team coming to inspect the area and the institute ruined my mood successfully," Tairo said with a hint of anger and disgust in his voice.
"Well, it is what it is, can't do much about it," Sanyara said in her monotonous voice.
"Is she always like that?" Tairo asked me in a low voice, to which I replied, "Well, for as long as I have interacted with her, she is like that, replying with a blank expression." I sighed.
"Hey, are you....." a low voice interrupted me from behind, saying, "Good to see you back in good health, Tairo."
"Oh, it's you, Toshiro. Well, as you can see, I am at my full health now." Tairo said nervously.
The boy wearing glasses, standing 5'8" tall with curly black hair, has a keychain hanging out from his pants pockets. Toshiro, a man who is timid-looking yet full of wit, knows when and where to speak, one of his qualities.
"Everything is all right, but why are they coming to the institution? Are they suspecting someone from our institute is involved in this?" Toshiro raised a question which made me a little nervous, as it was the most genuine question that should be the topic among the students, yet only a few are questioning it, and he is among the few, like I said, "he is cunning. He is the perfect definition of 𝑵𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝑱𝒖𝒅𝒈𝒆 𝒂 𝒃𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝒃𝒚 𝒊𝒕'𝒔 𝒄𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓."
"Now that you said it, something is not good for them to visit the institute," Arvyan said seriously.
"Do you know something about it, Svarbhan?" Toshiro asked me with a smile that sent chills down my spine.
"How am I supposed to know about this Toshiro?" I said, composing myself and maintaining a calm face. "But do you have any information that you are willing to share, Toshiro?" I asked him back, questioning him.
"Nope, unfortunately, not an ounce of information resides within me," Toshiro said while shaking his head with a disappointed face. "Well, I will see you guys back in classes then." Toshiro left the group, waving his hands away.
"Guys, let's head back and not further delay our departure to classes; it's getting late," I said to them, and we all went back to our classes.
After an hour, "So, students, I will conclude my lecture today, and we will continue tomorrow from where we left off today." Professor Gilbirt said, a man in his late 50s, a retired veteran who has made many contributions on the battlefield. He is the most humble person I have ever seen.
A commotion was going on in front of the notice board where a petition was filed opposing the visit of a special team inside the institute. Many students were silently protesting. Many students admire the people on the battlefields who fight for us and defend the safety dome, but these special teams are different. The teams are usually composed of experienced veterans, but due to the rise of more people with powers, people who are not suitable for the battlefields, changes in policies, are assigned to these teams. They are mostly arrogant and full of themselves, thinking they are above everyone, attracting many haters towards them.
I hope this coming team will not be like the previous one or the rumored one, because it may cause uproars. Well, it's the administration's duty to look over these matters, so I can't complain much about it. Let's see what tomorrow holds. Seeing this commotion, a boy was laughing silently, sitting in a corner of the room, unknown to anyone. It looked like the boy was enjoying every bit of drama that was unfolding in front of his eyes. "Looks like the upcoming days are going to be chaotic but fun for me," the mysterious boy said to himself.
