"Yes, who else would it be if not for him?" Joshua asked as Annabel bit her lip, staring at him in a weird manner.
"I didn't mean it in that way, and I didn't tell him anything?" He sighed.
''I should head back to class now, I'll see you after school." Annabel said and left.

At the other side of town, stood a grown-up man in his early 20's leaning on the railing of his balcony as he held a cigarette in between his lips, his hand holding his phone, staring at the message he had just sent.
" How could you do this to me?" He said in a sad and cold tone as the memories of that night flashed in his head.
"ARIANA!!!" He called as his voice echoed loudly.
"How can you leave me and go after that wretched thing, you're mine and mine only, not anymore else's." He declares, his eyes bloodred.
"Mr. Evan the car is ready, shall we leave?" one of his bodyguards asked as Evan threw the rest of his cigarette on the floor and spoke "Have you found her?"
"Yes boss, she attends Crown Academy." The man replied as Evan smirked.
"Crown Academy huh?" Evan murmured as he threw a bundle of cash at the man as he hungrily caught it.
"I'm back baby, Evan is back and I'm here to get you back and this time no one can separate us."

"Ariana wait!" Sarah called as Ariana stopped, turned around and stared at her angrily.
"What do you people want?" she asked, frustrated.
"haven't you all had enough? first it was Joshua, now it's you so who else is next? oh, I know, it's your stupid boyfriend who brought up the idea to play a bet on me." I lashed out.
"What are you saying? I know you're angry but that doesn't mean you should talk about my boyfriend in that manner." Sarah replied angrily.
"It seems that the people you are helping are hiding the real truth about this matter behind your back?" Ariana scoffed.
"What truth are they hiding?" Sarah asked as Ariana turned her back against her and said, "why don't you go and ask your darling boyfriend or aren't you too close to be asking each other personal question?"
"I'll leave now and don't ever stop me again to talk to me because we aren't friends, that was all in the past." She said and left.

"ANNABEL!!" Jordan shouted as he rushed forward to where she was.
"J-Jordan, what can I do for you?" Annabel asked once he got to where she was.
"Actually, I need your help with some work if you don't mind." He said as Annabel nodded.
"I need you to teach me this." He said as he brought out a math textbook from his bag.
''oh! you want me to tutor you?" Annabel asked, blushing as Jordan nodded with a smile.
"Okay we'll start tomorrow." Annabel said as Jordan's smile suddenly dropped.
"Oh? I was hoping that you could come over and we'll study together at my place." He said.
" I'm not sure about that I-''
"don't worry I won't hurt you, it's just that I'm really sorry for the way I treated you and I want us to be friends." Jordan stated as Annabel stared at him dumbfounded.
"Is this the same Jordan whom I have a crush on?" Annabel asked herself as she held her cheeks with her hands, trying to control herself from jumping on him, besides he is still Tessy's boyfriend.
"Yes, I forgive you." She said as Jordan wrapped his arms around her giving her a hug as she froze.
"I'm so happy, I can't wait to see you this weekend." He said as he broke the hug.
ANNABEL'S POV:
Dear Diary, Today Jordan came to talk to me, I was so happy I could feel butterflies in my tummy when he hugged me. I just hope he would be nicer to me. I really like him, but I can't get mum's words out of my head. How do I even get her to agree, or should I'll just lie that I'm going over to a friend's place, but I don't have any friends...
"Urgh..." that's me screaming into my pillow as I closed my diary.
"I have to tell mum somehow before it's weekend. I have only one chance to impress Jordan without Tessy around him."

"Sir, I'm here to see Sebastian please tell him I'm here." Sarah said as she held her school bag with both hands as leaned against the wall waiting for Sebastian.
"Miss Sarah, Sebastian is not home." The butler said as he placed a glass of water on the table for her.
"When will he be back?" Sarah asked.
"I don't know when he will be back since school just resumed." The butler replied as Sarah nodded her head.

"Miss, I think you should head home your parents must be worried." The butler said as Sarah sighed and shook her head.
"No, there is no one waiting for me at home." She assured him with a smile.
"Sarah?'' Sebastian called as he entered into the sitting room.
"Sebastian why are you home this late and why do you reek of alcohol?'' She asked as Sebastian ignored her and threw his keys at the butler and landed on the couch.
"School closed hours ago why didn't you come home instead you went out drinking.'' She yelled at him.
"Hey enough okay! you don't have to yell at me, you're not my mum, okay?'' He scoffed.
''Sebastian what has gotten into you? why are you acting up?" Sarah asked, startled by his behavior.
"Why are you here?" Sebastian asked, ignoring her question.
"I spoke to Ariana today and it seems like you've been lying all this time." She stated.
''and what did she tell you now? can just for once stop telling me about her, i don't fucking care.'' He said as Sarah stared at him in disbelieve.
''she told me about the bet." Sarah said as Sebastian swiftly stood up.
