"The only thing that surprises me is that the Great Aetherium won with a huge advantage against those 100+ Beast Gods. Even Tigranov, Zylo and Gavin were killed by them. It seems that I have severely underestimated their strength." Christine frowned.
It seemed like her plan to make the Great Aetherium a subordinate force would need to be scrapped and turned into a cooperation between equals as their strength should've skyrocketed so it should be impossible for Haru to help her win the God King's Throne.
"Well, let's take it step by step. Since I've already arrived here, I should find Divine Crystals. Then next time we meet, I'll see how that king dares to call me poor." She felt compelled to change her impression in Haru's mind. At least when she sees him again, he mustn't call her 'poor'.
Endless Continent's boundary, which was dubbed 'The End', was an extremely dangerous pure white space ruled by the World's Laws. Even High Gods had to be careful there. If they act recklessly, they may fall into 'traps', sometimes even leading to the destruction of their soul. Naturally, Christine would not dare to be careless.
After a long time, she suddenly sensed some strange auras, and she immediately flew towards their source. After traveling millions of kms, when she arrived at her destination, her expressions turned horrified because she saw a huge blood-red Demon Nest with a large number and variety of Dimensional Demons.
"Damn! How can there be demons here?" Although this wasn't Endless Continent's core, it was very close. Dimensional Demons hiding here should've been impossible.
"Are the demons left over from the Ancient Era, or whether the Endless Continent has only been recently invaded. Anyways, It doesn't matter, I need to immediately kill them!" Christine estimated the demons' strength and when she was absolutely sure that she could easily kill them, she didn't hesitate and launched an attack, unleashing her Divine Power towards the distant Demon Nest.
"Enemy attack!"
"It's a God of Faith!"
"Kill!"
The demons also responded quickly. However, their strength was 'too weak', with the strongest one only being an Intermediate God and the vast majority being just at the Lower True God Tier. They were not Christine's opponents at all, and therefore were quickly annihilated. She even made sure to destroy the Demon Nest, finding a lot of Divine Crystals in them.
"I need to inform the Supreme Gods so they can thoroughly investigate this issue!" Christine grabbed a few Demons that had been sealed by her. Since she didn't know how many more were still hidden or whether there was a Demon Monarch here as well, she chose to retreat, not daring to continue exploring.
After all, if she encountered a Demon Monarch, it would almost be impossible for her to escape as all twelve of them were terrifying Supreme Gods while she was just a peak High Goddess.
"It seems that the Dimensional Demons will invade soon." Christine took a deep breath and flew towards the Great Aetherium because she knew that she could find Svetlana there.
...
Angel City, the Great Aetherium.
The golden light of promotion gradually dissipated from Haru's body. After a long time, he opened his eyes and a stronger Divine Aura emanated from him forcing Aria, who was standing not far away, to kneel down.
"I finally became a High God. It definitely wasn't easy." Haru sensed his Divine Aura leaking and quickly reigned it in, allowing Aria to stand up with a pale face.
In this Divine Battle, let alone the Royal Army's mortal forces, the Gods and Goddesses have killed more than a hundred Beast Gods and Celestia alone has killed three High Gods. Only then did he break through to become a High God. It really wasn't easy.
However when Aria heard Haru's words, distance, black lines appeared on her forehead, 'Hey! I'm one of the strongest Castle Lords, among the top 0.00001 percent of them and yet I'm only at the Demigod Tier. What are you complaining about?'
Within less than two months, she went from a Tier 0 Mortal to a peak Demigod and while this was an unbelievable record among the natives, compared to Haru, it was as slow as a slug.
He was a true High God, someone who can be considered a true powerhouse in the various Divine Pantheons, which could be observed from the group of Beast Gods attacking Haru. The 100+ Beast Gods only had one High God.
Once the info is spread, maybe even the Dimensional Demons would consider Haru one of their primary targets, giving him equal priority as some of the relatively 'weaker' Supreme Gods.
…
T/N - I had to cut a large part of this chapter as it was just repeating the same thing over and over so it might feel a little small but I'll compensate with the next one.
