Later that day, Russell and his group ended up having lunch at the residence of the Konyvet Family. It was a hearty and nice one, with Jean-Max's wife being a good cook that makes delicious, mostly seafood-based dishes. After that, Janet went back to the family library to research more about the YIF. Russell, meanwhile, went around Kate-Raler for his job as a bus driver, opening new routes around the YIF. Jaria, Adrian, and Cassius, as well as the dragon family, hopped in for a ride. Aren, Frannie, and Azalea are in Kate-Raler's main temple gazing at its beauty while Gregory was going around the city's neighborhoods to look at them and admire at their relative compactness and efficiency compared to North American ones back in his previous life.
But back at the family library of the Konyvet Family, Janet stumbled on something terrifying: the curse of the Chucilla Ghost Pirates. Intrigued by its mystery, she went deeper on it. The Chucilla Ghost Pirates are a group of ghost pirates, complete with ghost wooden pirate ships, that attacks and raids the YIF every 10 years as a curse to its residents and their authorities. This started over 200 years ago, when the leader of the group, a greedy, sadistic captain only known by the name Blackmarrow, cursed the YIF to be attacked by him and his crew every 10 years after they had executed them by burning them alive in their own ships for their crimes of piracy, murder, and kidnapping women and children. And ever since then, 20 attacks were successfully carried out on the YIF, and every time, a mysterious fog envelops the island nation when they attack. Almost every attack was brutal and was a devastating blow to the people of the YIF. But no one can break this decade-cycle curse ever since.
After reading the entire section dedicated to the Cuchilla Ghost Pirates, Janet was instantly terrified and now wondered if this year marked the end of the 10-year cycle for a new attack. So, she went to the latest and recent attack, which is almost ten years ago, and tomorrow will be the day of their attack on the island country, much to Janet's fear and horror.
