In a world created by two all-powerful omni-beings, one's level of energy determines one's level of power. This is what separates the royals from the peasants.
Royals are said to be reincarnations of avatars because they possess two forms of energy: spiritual energy and physical energy. Peasants, on the other hand, are believed to inherit only physical energy.
Physical energy enhances the body's strength and physical capabilities, allowing its users to develop greater muscular power and endurance. Spiritual energy, however, grants its users extraordinary abilities, including magic, energy-based attacks, and unique techniques that go beyond the limits of ordinary physical strength.
In this world, possessing spiritual energy is considered a privilege reserved for the royals.
However, there is one peasant boy who defies this belief.
Born without spiritual energy, he still dreams of joining Legion Academy and reaching its highest rank, known as the Great Elder.
His name is Mason Grace.
Mason was born into a family of five: his father, Chad Grace; his mother; and his two older sisters, Becca and Gem. Sadly, his mother was believed to have died during childbirth, leaving Chad to raise their children.
But what no one knew was that Mason possessed something far more extraordinary than spiritual energy.
He was born with a forgotten force known as Anti-Energy.
Unlike ordinary energy, Anti-Energy possesses the ability to erase anything produced by energy and energy itself. Whether it is physical energy, spiritual energy, or an ability powered by either form, Anti-Energy can nullify its effects.
This mysterious power grants Mason extraordinary anti-energy abilities, setting him apart from everyone else in the world.
Yet, there is a drawback.
The tremendous flow of Anti-Energy within Mason's body prevents others from sensing any spiritual energy within him. As a result, they cannot accurately determine his power rank or recognize the true nature of his abilities.
To the world, Mason appears to be nothing more than an ordinary peasant boy without spiritual energy.
But beneath that appearance lies a power that could change everything.
And humanity has far greater problems to worry about.
Although this world may seem fascinating, it faces a terrifying threat known as the demons.
These beings serve as vessels for devils, ancient entities that once fought against the gods during a great conflict known as the Holy War. Before their defeat, the devils sought a way to enter and inhabit Earth, hoping to extend their influence beyond their own realm.
However, the leader of the gods sealed them away in another dimension known as the Underworld, also called Hell.
The war was thought to be over.
But not every devil was defeated.
One survived.
Through a mysterious pact with a human, the surviving devil gained access to a vessel in the human world. This arrangement allowed him to retain his supernatural abilities and continue his existence beyond the boundaries imposed by the gods.
Among his powers was an extraordinary ability known as the Devil's Mouth, which manifested on his left hand and granted him access to unique abilities and techniques.
For thousands of years, he remained alive, gradually building his army and preparing for what might come next.
Humanity, however, was not entirely helpless.
To counter the growing threat, the royals devised a plan.
They established an academy dedicated to training young royals to master their powers, strengthen their abilities, and prepare to fight against the demons. Through rigorous training and dangerous missions, students could improve their skills, rise through the ranks, and earn recognition throughout the kingdom.
That academy became known as Legion Academy.
But what happens when a boy without spiritual energy enters a world where power determines everything?
What happens when someone who should be powerless possesses an ability capable of challenging the very foundation of that world?
And how will Mason Grace overcome the obstacles standing between him and his dream of becoming the Great Elder?
