The God King's Throne had a spirit and if it took fancy to anyone, even a Lower True God, their fate would change immediately. The other relatively 'weaker' Gods of Faith who had returned to the Endless Continent also had this sort of mentality. Since they didn't have enough strength, then they could only rely on luck.
A humanoid wolf-headed Beast God said, "Why are we even planning a war? We Gods should just descend above the Aetherium Kingdom's capital city and kill all the Gods there. There is no need for a mortal war. It is simply a waste of our time!"
As a proud Beast God of Faith, he was angered by the Aetherium Kingdom's army slaughtering beastmen on the Endless Prairie. The other Beast Gods in the hall had the same thoughts. Their bloodline inheritance was in the Endless Prairies.
In addition, the death of their companion Urznar, at the hands of the Aetherium Kingdom's Gods added to this hatred. They wanted nothing more than to destroy the Aetherium Kingdom. Of course, the main reason why they participated in this war was because they were poor. They wanted to kill and rob some Gods but they didn't dare to provoke the Gods of Truth.
As for the warning from Goddess Medusa, Christine, they did not take it to heart. Although she was the ruler of the Beast Gods, she wasn't a beastwoman and wasn't recognized by every Beast God. The ones here fell into this category.
So what if they destroyed the Aetherium Kingdom? They believed that Christine wouldn't dare to punish these noble Beast Gods of Faith because of some Castle Lord because it might sow discord in the Beast God Pantheon of the Faith faction.
So in short, their motives for starting this war are to take revenge for Urznar, to protect their descendants from the Endless Prairies and most importantly, to gain some Godheads but the problem they were facing now was that the God of Destruction and the God of Slaughter wanted to make this war last longer, to better improve their laws from the prolonged war and slaughter.
"Kaelix, Zarek!" A Tiger-Headed Beast God stood up and said in a thunderous voice, "If you don't want to join us, then we'll do this ourselves!"
He was the Tiger God, Tigranov, an early-stage High God, the leader of the Beast Gods present, while the 'Kaelix' and 'Zarek' he spoke of were the God of Destruction and the God of Slaughter sitting on the throne.
The God of Destruction Kaelix said calmly, "Tigranov, don't be rash!"
Dressed in a black robe, his eyes were filled with countless stars, trapped in an endless loop of birth and destruction, which looked rather terrifying. Beside him was the God of Slaughter, Zarek, who was wearing a blood-red robe. On the surface of his robe were the souls of numerous figures, who kept writhing and howling. Those were all the creatures that he had killed, and their souls were sealed.
Zarek also added coldly, "We, the Gods of Faith, have just arrived on the Endless Continent, so we should not create too much commotion. It's better to start slow!"
Tigranov sneered, "I know what you two are up to, but don't forget that Christine has already gone to the Aetherium Kingdom and she is already on good terms with their King. If she appears, our plan will fall apart! We have to take advantage of this golden opportunity when she has left the Endless Prairies to take down the Aetherium Kingdom in one fell swoop!"
After Christine left the Aetherium Kingdom, she headed to the faraway ocean to search for Divine Crystals as she planned to work with Haru.
Kaelix glanced at him and said, "The Supreme Elven Goddess of Nature and the Supreme Goddess of Fate have left their divine marks in the Aetherium Kingdom. Before finding out the relationship between their King and these two Goddesses, how dare we act recklessly?"
Hearing this Tigranov stalled. The expressions of the other Beast Gods also changed. They could go against Christine's order but these two Goddesses were different. The number of Demon Gods they have killed was even greater than the number of Demon Gods they've seen. If the two Goddesses got angry, they would not even be able to escape.
Tigranov asked in a low voice, "Isn't it simple? They most likely did that because the Aetherium Kingdom is the strongest force in the Castle Lord faction. I believe that they will not make things difficult for us Gods of Faith because of a mere Castle Lord!"
"Why are you so confident?" Kaelix sneered at him.
Tigranov frowned and said, "Then when do you propose we attack?"
Kaelix said lightly, "When their kingdom's army and the Dynasty Alliance fight to death, we will use the excuse that the Aetherium Kingdom is killing local intelligent creatures and destroying world peace to take action!"
"Who would believe such words?" Tigranov frowned.
Kaelix said, "It's just an excuse for our actions, who cares if anyone believes it or not?"
Tigranov frowned in silence. Had it not been for the fact that he had just gotten promoted to become a High God and didn't have the absolute confidence to suppress the Gods of the Aetherium Kingdom, he would have already initiated a Divine Battle with the Beast Gods of Faith who followed him against the Aetherium Kingdom.
He also needed Kaelix and as shields once the Aetherium Kingdom was destroyed so Christine and even the two Supreme Goddesses would blame them. The two also knew it but they didn't care. They delayed the progress of this war, not because they feared the several Goddesses but just for their personal benefits.
Zarek said coldly, "Now the forces of the dynasties in the two regions are gathering their armies, and the weak Castle Lords are also mobilizing their forces. The final battle will begin soon. Can't you wait for a few days?"
Zarek looked at Tigranov and added, "You may take this time to investigate the secrets of their King and see why his kingdom is so powerful!"
These Gods of Faith were naturally unfamiliar with the Castle Lords as they have just returned to the Endless Continent but they have definitely heard that the Aetherium Kingdom has already cultivated True Gods.
Tigranov nodded, "Tonight I will explore the Aetherium Kingdom and discover their secrets!"
Next to him, another Beast God said, "Lord Tigranov, please be careful. There are a lot of Gods in the Aetherium Kingdom. Once they find out, there is no guarantee that there won't be an accident."
Tigranov sneered, "The Gods of the Aetherium Kingdom, at most they have a peak Intermediate Goddess. Even if they notice me, I can get out of there easily. If I'm lucky, I might even catch one or two Gods and bring them back for fun!"
The Beast Gods fell silent. They knew that Tigranov had a 'special' hobby.
Soon, the Beast Gods disappeared, returning to their Divine Kingdoms and Zarek whispered, "A bunch of stupid Gods!"
Kaelix smiled and said, "They might be stupid but they are very useful! The war between them and the Aetherium Kingdom's Gods can help us deepen our understanding of our laws!"
Zarek nodded, "None of these fools can be left alive!"
They were not from the order or even neutral faction. They were certified evil Gods! How could they miss such a good opportunity? They wanted the Godheads of all the Gods from both camps, plus the death of all living beings in the Endless Prairies and the Andes Highlands.
