Time: Late Night.
As usual, a faint bloody light covered the entire world in a layer of red which caused all the wild monsters in the world to go berserk. Not only did their combat strength increase. Not only that, even the intelligent race were affected by it.
Every day in all parts of the world, the gathering places of weak intelligent races were attacked and ravaged by wild monsters, which caused countless living beings to perish. After so many millennia, the casualties and losses caused by the wild monsters to the intelligent races had far exceeded the casualties of the Ancient War.
According to legends, the Blood Moon had appeared during the Ancient War and was formed from the blood of all the races in the Endless Continent and under its influence, the souls of Dimensional Demons that had fallen in that era would possess the weak wild monsters.
Another legend suggested that there were Dimensional Demons sleeping on the Blood Moon and the 'demonic energy' they emitted dyed the red-blood moon and caused the wild monsters to go berserk. There were even legends that the Blood Moon was a punishment for the Endless Continent's 'World Laws'.bIn short, there were many stories surrounding the Blood Moon, however no one knew the truth about the Blood Moon apart from the Supreme Gods.
Haru did not know the truth either. At this moment, he stood on a tall tower near the throne room, looking up at the Blood Moon in the sky with Mary nestled in his embrace. She had retracted her Angel Wings as she wanted to be closer to Haru.
"Lord Almighty, what are you thinking?" Mary asked softly, her voice sweet and clear, brushing away the distracting thoughts in Haru's heart.
Haru tightened her delicate body and said with a smile, "I'm thinking about when the Dimensional Demons will invade the Endless Continent! Svetlana told me that when the Blood Moon will change, it will be the day when the Dimensional Demons invade! However, she did not tell me the exact time!"
"The Supreme Goddess of Fate, who can see through the river of fate, always speaks so mysteriously." Haru had a headache over this. If it wasn't for the fact that Celestia was not yet a powerful Supreme Goddess, he would have wanted to suppress the Goddess of Fate and force her to tell him everything.
Haru shook his head and said, "It's a pity that Caelith's strength is too low. If she forcefully peeped into the river of fate, the backlash from the World's Laws would cause her to die."
Mary had no choice but to just listen. As a Twelve-Winged Angel of Dominion, she had mastered countless powerful Divine Arts and Angel Battle Skills, however she had no way to peep into the future.
She comforted Haru, "You do not need to worry Lord Almighty. No matter when the Dimensional Demons come, under your guidance, we Angels will overcome the Demons and bring this world for you to command!"
Haru nodded and said, "Indeed, I believe in my Angels so let's enjoy the night."
With Mary's delicate shout, Haru picked her up and returned to his bedroom.

…
Location: Northern Plateaus of the Endless Prairies.
At the peak of a certain mountain, there was a Black Temple where over a dozen figures gathered within its divine hall. Each one of them sat on their throne, exuding powerful Divine Aura. From their appearances, it could be seen that most of them were Beast Gods of Faith.
There were only two human figures among them, who were Haru's prime targets, the God of Destruction and the God of Slaughter. In the Ancient Era, they used to have followers as countless as the stars in the Endless Continent but now that the peace was restored and the Gods of Truth rose to power, they didn't have them anymore.
However, this was not a big problem for them because they have occupied many living planets in the extraterrestrial world, developing countless intelligent creatures that worshipped them. It could be said that they definitely didn't lack believers.
They only returned to the Endless Continent to compete for the God King's Throne. Although they weren't Supreme Gods, they were willing to bet that the God King's Throne might not choose its master based solely on strength.
