Muzanette sat in her ornate courtyard. The night was eerily silent, a rare moment of peace in her reign of terror.

Yet, it was shattered when the sky above her split apart, and a pillar of blinding light erupted on the horizon.

It was unlike anything she had ever witnessed—a celestial force tearing through the heavens, towering into infinity.

Her crimson eyes narrowed as she rose from her throne, the light reflected in her gaze. "What is this?" she murmured, her voice a mix of curiosity and unease.

The ground trembled beneath her feet, the air vibrating with an unnatural energy.

Even from this distance, she could feel its power, an overwhelming presence that threatened to consume everything in its wake.

Then, just as quickly as it had appeared, the light was extinguished. Darkness rushed back like a tidal wave, blanketing the land in a night deeper than before.

Muzanette clenched her hands into fists, her long nails biting into her palms. Whatever this was, it wasn't ordinary. It wasn't human.

To see what was happening, she searched through all the demon's thoughts. And from which she concludes that Enmu was gone. The last of the Lower Moons had been extinguished.

"Enmu," she whispered, her tone laced with irritation and disbelief. "The fool is dead. And my connection to Akaza has been served."

Closing her eyes, Muzanette extended her senses, reaching into the remnants of Enmu's fading consciousness.

Through the fragmented memories left behind, she pieced together the final moments of his existence.

She saw a train—her servant's warped body fused with its machinery—tearing through the countryside.

She felt his confidence, his smug satisfaction as he manipulated his prey. And then, she saw him.

The figure of a man standing amidst the chaos, exuding an aura of calm dominance. His features were strikingly clear in Enmu's recollections: dark hair, piercing eyes, and a presence that seemed to transcend mortality.

Alexander.

The name echoed in her mind like a whispered curse. Muzanette's lips curled into a fanged smile, though it was devoid of warmth. "So, it is him again," she murmured. "The one who overthrew my hold on the Spider Demon Mother and killed Gyokko"

Her thoughts churned as she paced the courtyard, the hem of her flowing gown trailing behind her like a shadow. This "Alexander" was no mere human.

His power was something beyond even the strongest Demon Slayer she had encountered. The thing he had unleashed earlier—its sheer magnitude—confirmed that he was a being outside the realm of ordinary understanding.

"What is he?" She mused aloud, her voice low and contemplative. "Not human. Not demon. Something else entirely."

She paused, her fingers tapping the edge of her seat. A plan was beginning to take shape in her mind.

If this Alexander could wield such power, then he was more than a threat—he was an opportunity.

"If I can harness that power…" Muzanette's crimson eyes gleamed with dark ambition. "I will eliminate my greatest weakness. The light of the sun will no longer hold sway over me. With his strength at my command, I will rise beyond even my current form."

But there was a problem: she knew nothing about him beyond his face and his name. Muzanette's intelligence network had no records of a figure like him.

He seemed to have appeared out of nowhere, disrupting her carefully constructed plans.

Her gaze shifted to the horizon, where the light had vanished. "This will require patience," she murmured, a sinister smile tugging at her lips. "And precision. I cannot act recklessly."

She turned to one of her subordinates, who knelt silently in the shadows of the courtyard. "Send word to all the Upper Moons. I want information. Anything they can uncover about Alexander—his origins, his allies, his purpose. Leave no stone unturned."

The subordinate bowed deeply, disappearing into the darkness with haste.

Muzanette sank back into her throne, resting her chin on her hand. She considered the memory of Alexander's face once more.

There was something infuriatingly calm about his expression, even in the midst of battle. It was as though he was untouchable, as though the chaos around him was nothing more than a game.

"It won't be easy," she admitted to herself. "But if I can bend him to my will, I will become unstoppable. The Demon Slayers, the sun—nothing will stand in my way."

She straightened, her resolve hardening. "If he cannot be controlled," she said softly, her voice like silk wrapped around a blade, "then he must be destroyed. No matter the cost."

"Prepare yourself, Alexander," she whispered to the empty courtyard. "You may think you can stand against me, but I will show you what it means to challenge the Queen of the Night."
