"It's good to be back," I said, my voice carrying a sense of ease as I settled onto my throne. "Tell me, what did I miss?"

Time wasn't on my side. I had to return to the Butterfly Mansion soon, but I couldn't leave Nazarick without understanding what had transpired in my absence.

Albedo, ever dutiful, stepped forward. "My lord, Serafall paid us a visit during your time in the other world."

"Serafall?" I raised an eyebrow. "What did she want? Was it something important?"

Albedo shook her head, her golden eyes unwavering. "No, my lord. She was here because she missed you. She seemed... restless in your absence."

I sighed lightly, though inwardly I couldn't help but find Serafall's behavior predictable. "I see. Anything else of note?"

Albedo's lips curved slightly, her tone shifting as her gaze moved to Shalltear. "Aside from that, it seems Shalltear has been thoroughly enjoying herself these past few days. Without anyone to disturb her, she appears quite content."

There was a subtle sharpness in Albedo's voice, a barely concealed edge that made her words land with more weight than necessary.

Shalltear's crimson eyes gleamed with amusement, and her smirk widened. "Oh, what can I say, Albedo?" she said, her voice laced with smug satisfaction. "Lord Alex loves me the most, so naturally, he didn't let me sleep a wink during our time together."

The words were deliberately provocative, and Albedo's expression tightened slightly, though she maintained her outward grace. Demiurge wisely remained silent, his calculating gaze flitting between the two women as if noting the exchange for future reference.

I sighed inwardly, sensing the brewing storm between them. "Enough," I said, my voice firm but calm. "Shalltear, stop provoking Albedo. And Albedo, there's no need to dwell on such matters. You all have your roles, and I value each of you for what you contribute to Nazarick."

Albedo immediately softened at my words, her expression shifting to one of devotion. "Of course, my lord. Forgive me for allowing my emotions to cloud my judgment."

Shalltear gave a theatrical shrug, clearly enjoying the small victory but choosing to remain silent for now.

I leaned forward, resting my elbows on the arms of the throne. "Now, is there anything pressing that requires my immediate attention? I have limited time before I need to return to the Butterfly Mansion."

Albedo and Demiurge exchanged a glance before Demiurge spoke. "Nothing urgent, my lord. However, I have been refining strategies for how Nazarick could expand its influence in this world while remaining undetected. If you have time, I would like to present my proposals."

"Not now," I replied, shaking my head. "While that is important, the current priority is to solidify our presence without drawing undue attention. Keep refining your plans, Demiurge. I'll review them when the time is right."

"As you command," he said, bowing slightly.

Albedo stepped forward. "My lord, if there is nothing else, may I accompany you to the Butterfly Mansion? I wish to witness this world you are engaging with so closely."

I considered her request. Albedo's presence, while reassuring, could also be overwhelming in a setting like the Butterfly Mansion. The last thing I needed was for her intensity to create unnecessary friction with the Demon Slayer Corps. "Not this time," I said, standing up. "For now, continue overseeing Nazarick's affairs. I'll summon you when your presence is required."

Albedo looked slightly disappointed but nodded. "Understood, my lord."

I glanced at Shalltear, who was still wearing her smug expression. "Shalltear, you'll return with me. Your familiarity with the area will be useful."

Her eyes lit up, and she curtsied dramatically. "As you wish, my lord."

With that, I stepped away from the throne and gestured for Shalltear to follow. Behind us, Demiurge and Albedo bowed in unison, their expressions both resolute and full of purpose.

As we made our way back to the gate leading to the Demon Slayer world, I glanced at Shalltear. "Try to behave yourself this time."

She tilted her head innocently. "Why, my lord, whatever do you mean?"

I gave her a pointed look but didn't reply. Moments later, the familiar dark vortex formed before us, and with a step forward, we left Nazarick behind once again.
