Chapter 266 - Chapter 265 - All the Events Involving Severus 04.

[Chapter Size: 1900 Words.]

Third Person POV

Ministry of Magic.

...

...

"Dungeon, what do you mean by that?" Vicência asked, representing the confused look on everyone's faces.

They had never heard of such things, but one thing was certain: that secret, which only Severus Prince possessed, would be discussed there.

Severus had been entering paintings for the past six months, disappearing for varying amounts of time; some reports said he stayed for hours, days, or even an entire month, and no one else could do that... which made many even more skeptical.

"The paintings are portals," Severus spoke again, "as I mentioned before. They take us to the dungeon. The dungeons are specific areas—caves, forests, and other places—with hordes of monsters of all kinds trying to eliminate you." He spoke as people looked at him skeptically, having never heard anything like it.

"That's a bit hard to believe—monsters?" Vicência made a face.

Severus knew he had to show more than just words; he didn't necessarily need to prove everything there, but he wanted to keep everyone informed. After all, there had been situations where one of the paintings had pulled him in, and Rosaria could also pull others inside.

"Words alone aren't enough! You have to show us how this works!" someone shouted from the middle of the stands in a demanding voice.

Others agreed; after all, it was a very strange thing for everyone there—people being sucked into paintings or portals opening—even if that had never been confirmed.

"I have a suggestion," someone then raised a hand in the audience, making everyone turn to look. Steve Vujin was the respected detective of Great Britain, who spoke effortlessly. His voice captured everyone's attention.

"And what kind of suggestion do you have?" Vicência asked. Dumbledore watched with a furrowed brow; there was an intense look in that man's eyes because, like Severus, they seemed to possess abilities beyond the ordinary. Even they doubted that Vujin was human at that moment.

"I have an object in particular that can show memories in a broader vision. If Lord Prince allows it, we can see what he saw through his own eyes inside those dungeons," said the detective, while Severus stared at him first, checking if it wasn't a trick. The detective gave him a friendly smile.

"Don't worry about that, Lord Prince. All you'll need to do is remove a memory from your mind and place it in this mirror," the detective explained. He took out a mirror with a small vial attached to it. "You just need to give me the memory, and it will be placed in the container; it will be reflected by the mirror and projected on a large screen. Everyone will be able to see it, like a Pensieve."

Severus thought for a moment and nodded after hearing that, but for that, he needed a wand.

"I need a wand. Mine was left at the reception," he said. Despite having shown immense strength, he needed the wand to handle memories, as it was something very delicate—something from his own mind.

"Bring him his wand," Vicência ordered after everyone waited for her response.

Some looked at her with protest in their eyes — after all, she was giving Severus the weapon he could use against them — but Vicência knew very well that he wouldn't even need a wand for that.

One of the Aurors spoke to his colleague, who nodded and disappeared by Apparition, returning moments later with the wand in his hands.

The man handed the wand over carefully, stepping as far away from Severus as possible. Severus took the wand and, pointing it at his head, removed the specific memory after focusing on it; it condensed into a small blue light being drawn from his head to the tip of the wand.

Using telekinesis, he levitated it toward Steve; the detective took the memory with his own wand and placed it into the mirror's container. He held the mirror, which began to project the memory into the air, ready to be displayed.

The room began to glow as the mirror was activated. A large screen made of light appeared, showing two people talking in what seemed to be a Hogwarts corridor, with several paintings beside them.

Severus had chosen the memory of when he and Rosaria had been pulled into one of the paintings while they were flirting. Suddenly, they were in another world — a world of ice. Rosaria was attacked and nearly hit by something moving so fast it made the air whistle, but Severus was quick enough to catch the arrow from the ice elf with his bare hands before it struck the redhead.

In the trees nearby, a white creature — resembling a human except for its pointed ears and skin so pale it looked like ice — smiled at Severus as he stared back at it.

"What is that thing!?"

"By Merlin! What is that!?"

People were terrified at the sight of the white creature grinning wickedly, its eyes completely white — it stunned everyone. They had never seen anything like it.

"That was inside Hogwarts!?" Professor McGonagall couldn't have been more horrified at the idea that one of Hogwarts' paintings concealed such a world.

Soon after, Severus calmed Rosaria as the elf fled from there. The two began exploring that world, with Severus explaining what he knew about everything that was happening. They eventually encountered more ice elves who tried to attack them, but always kept their distance as the pair moved through an area full of bears.

They faced giant white bears as they came across them in that region. Rosaria used spells, speed, and the strength of a half-vampire, but she was unable to handle those kinds of monsters alone.

However, Severus was there — even faster and swifter — using daggers to defeat enemies and even his bare fists, strong enough to crush the faces and skulls of the creatures with a single blow.

After that, a horde of bears appeared, and he began summoning his shadows, starting an intense battle between the monsters and the shadows. The people watching the memory were stunned — they had never seen anything like it.

"They fight like that!?" someone exclaimed.

After eliminating the ice bears, they saw Severus talking to the ice elf, with the creature wanting Rosaria, but Severus refused. Then they fought, both trying to kill each other at incredible speed, while the shadow creatures kept fighting against the army of ice elves.

In the end, Severus proved stronger and faster. Rosaria was in a corner, protecting herself from any attack, while even Severus's shadow defended her, as she couldn't do much in that chaos.

Bellatrix herself stared at Rosaria wide-eyed; she had been through many things with Severus, but nothing like that.

In the end, they defeated all the ice elves, and the portal opened, allowing them to return. When they crossed it, they reappeared in the same place from which they had been pulled — the corridor of Hogwarts.

"I only showed the most important part, but we spent an entire day in that place, while only an hour passed in this world…" Severus explained, not hiding a curious look as he observed the artifact in Steve's hands, though nothing could surprise him anymore after everything he had done.

"You're saying we could also be pulled into those places?" Vicência asked cautiously after seeing Severus and Rosaria being taken to a frozen world full of dangers and monsters.

There was something else everyone noticed: Severus was not only versatile in magic but extremely powerful — stronger than anyone they had ever seen. No one could imagine a person so strong and fast, fighting with daggers. Everyone knew they could never face Severus, even without him using magic...

"It can happen. I've only found one so far, but I don't know how this kind of portal works. I only know they appear in magical paintings," Severus explained.

"Is that how you have those powers? You resurrected those fallen monsters and turned them into shadows!" one of the men exclaimed, stunned. "That's necromancy!" he shouted, while everyone looked on in horror, realizing that Severus's powers went far beyond what they had imagined.

The shadows that served him were, in fact, monsters he had taken from those portals, and they had been within his shadow the entire time. A chilling thought crossed everyone's mind — after all, they were right there, and the monsters must have been in Severus's shadow all along, meaning they were in immense danger if they ever tried to fight the Monarch of Shadows.

"How do you have these powers? Such things would be impossible for a wizard!" asked the Minister of Magic, swallowing hard. He was very afraid now.

Dumbledore was already aware of Severus's abilities but also wanted to hear his answer.

"A magical artifact, far older than this very world, granted me these abilities," Severus replied calmly.

"Since I found it, I began to develop new gifts. My body became more powerful; I grew faster, stronger. I could react to anything far beyond what a human or even a wizard could do. Perhaps I'm not even human anymore." He chuckled softly. "In any case, these are my abilities. I will say nothing more about it," he finished.

"He's a necromancer! He must have captured all the Death Eaters — that's why he killed them!" someone accused, and a murmur of horror spread through the place. Even the proudest families turned pale.

Severus found amusement in that. He stored his wand back into his system and then looked toward his shadow.

"Appear, Voldemort," he said.

At that very instant, everyone's eyes widened in sheer terror. The shadow of a bald man wearing a wizard's cloak emerged before Severus. It didn't look exactly like the living Dark Lord he had named, but everyone could feel the power radiating from it.

There was no doubt — that was the presence of the true Dark Lord who had terrorized Great Britain for years.

"H-he made... You-Know-Who become his servant!" someone screamed in horror as panic swept through the stands. Even the Aurors were tense, ready to react, though unsure how.

"Merlin... am I wrong, or is that Voldemort now his servant, like those other creatures we saw in the mural?" Vicência asked, equally incredulous.

Dumbledore let out a heavy sigh. "Yes... it's true," was all he could say.

"How is that possible? Does that mean the more he kills, the stronger he becomes? I've never seen necromancy like this. There's nothing like it in the records!" exclaimed a dark wizard among the audience. Not all who practiced dark magic sought to dominate the world — it was simply their field of study, sometimes even to learn how to counter it. Still, even those dark wizards were stunned by what they witnessed.

Severus was immensely powerful — powerful enough to turn the Dark Lord himself into a servant. And this wasn't ordinary necromancy; it wasn't about corpses. It was as if he had shaped the enemy's very soul energy, cloaking it in darkness without stripping it of the powers it once had in life.

"Frankly... he cannot be allowed to walk free in the wizarding world! This man could simply kill us all and turn us into his servants!" cried an aristocratic woman from one of the pure-blood families, her voice trembling with despair.

Severus stared at her, showing nothing but a calm expression.

"Believe it or not: I have shadows more powerful than Voldemort himself. And that type of wizard is quite rare. You, wizards, are no match for the monsters I can resurrect in the dungeons. So I don't think I'll want you as soldiers. I also do not intend to kill anyone who doesn't deserve it."

Severus said this to her and turned to Vicência.

"I am not your enemy. I am not here to dominate the world or turn you all into servants. I really did place the Death Eaters into shadows and I'm using them to make potions, if you must know. I do not desire a war against the wizarding world; on the contrary, I only want stability and for you to stop this foolishness of the blood purity ideology." Everyone fell silent upon hearing him.

"After all, you believe you will control the wizarding world and even the Muggle world through blood purity, but what resulted in the end was only more destruction. The pure-blood families may never have been in such a low position after the defeat of Voldemort and all his followers." He paused.

"Tell me: what did that war bring in the end? You wanted to create a new order, but you ended up weaker than when you began; with all this chaos..."

"Moreover, this world was chosen to be a battlefield between creatures far more powerful than you would ever face; they do not care about exterminating all of humanity, and I am the only one who can fight them."
