"If you untie yourself, I won't touch you for six months," Kiyomi warned when she realized Sakura was trying to slyly undo the knots with her magic.
That warning alone had the mad queen stiffening and her body relaxing in annoyance and defiance.
All at the same time.
"Ready when you are, princess," Kiyomi reminded.
"What was the question?" a pouty Sakura said, and Kiyomi smirked at her.
"Twelve months."
"You wouldn't dare."
"Eigh—"
"Fine, fine, I'll talk!" Sakura grumbled in disbelief, like this was not what she had thought she would be doing.
Eighteen months without Kiyomi's touch was a long time.
Way too long.
Probably longer than eternity for Sakura.
The past few weeks, she hadn't smelled Kiyomi's scent, and she had been beneath the grumpiest version of herself, trying to hold together for the sake of everyone. But she was always feeling like shit.
